Too bad I can't steal one of yours! Ugh I wanted Blood Mage/AW/SH but not happening. Guess I'll drop blood mage.

Well I found it. Sort of. It's either Mutator (lets you change a bunch of crap like visual effects etc), a combat tweaks folder that was in my override after I uninstalled CT, the fade shroud removal mod, or the one to keep blood magic up.

Ok offically Alistair is awsome! He killed Cautherine and saved my ass from getting KOed from her at the same time! Killing her felt awsome and watching Alistair tank her was impressive:







Damn I feel good right now, Howe is dead, I have the nobles in my politics and the alienage is next!

Cautherin may have been a good fighter but Alistair is epic right there folks.

I think it's just Alistair softening the fact that he really does need to be elsewhere.  The Bannorn had it pretty rough under Loghain and seem to be the most unruly to govern in general, so splitting your efforts as royal team makes perfect sense.

I didn't like the Alistair vignette in Awakening at first, but it grew on me.  It's sweet for what it is and communicates in short space of time the fact that he really is king now, things are different, but underneath he's still the same guy.

Edit:  ....and sexier than ever.  Gah!




Vanillastair to please the masses

We don't know what Alistair was about to go do to deal with trouble in the Bannorn. It might have been lead the troops into battle against the rebellion. I took that whole exchange as being fairly light--he'd rather not listen to ****ing he doesn't have to, and that he prefers it when he and the PC can work together, but I don't think he has any real intention of shirking whatever duty calls him away.

I like your view Addai, it does make perfect sense.

And Errant, I don't think anyone suggested he'd be willing to shirk his duties. Just that at the moment, his duties were not the same as the Warden's.  I only suggested the Eamon comment may be him not wanting the King on the front lines against the Darkspawn again. The bannorn being in a state of uprising is plausible as well. But I was just talking about Eamon.

Although I am a nice guy Cautherin totally deserved that. She almost killed MR. Wiggles (the bear) although why her guards stick to the main room makes no sense.
