The only new pics I have are of my new guy, he hasn't met Alistair yet. I really really want to be able to play, but am only taking a break in the house/yard cleaning duties of the weekend.



I can't wait to have him meet up with Alistair & get to have double the fun!

Since we're walking down memory lane, I decided to peek into the automatic screenshot folder and see if there were any shots of my old characters lurking in there.

OMG I couldn't believe it, but there were actually shots left from my very 1st character, a city elf.  She put Anora on the throne and ran off with Alistair to rebuild the Wardens.

Here she's wearing her ratty nightdress to her wedding because we haven't yet figured out how to equip clothing.


Here she is wielding one sword because I was trying to make her dual-wield but couldn't figure out how to equip 2 weapons at once.  But she's got armor on, which means I've learned how to equip something.


Now she's got a 2H sword.  Not DW yet, but we're making progress!


Hey hey, we figured out the DW thing!  Miracles never cease.



It's a wonder Ferelden didn't end up a smoking ruin.  As I recall, I never figured out specializations on this game, either, and went the whole game with no specializations on anyone.  Good times!

Here's another shot from Kallian, my 1st character ever.  Whatever armor is that on Alistair??  Is that Effort?  It looks pretty good, though I can see the gauntlets are mismatched.

Another nostalgia shot.  This was my 2nd character I believe, a human noble DW warrior.  She became queen etc.

Alistair could do better.




And this was my 2nd city elf, which came a good bit later.  But she has the distinction of being the first and only character I had who never turned Alistair's romance on.  Give that girl a prize!

lol -- what is the armor he's wearing? Now I never use the plain armor, without any extra stats.

It's so funny to look back on your first characters. I recently took my very first character into Awakenings. It was fun to play her again!
