The armor is called Clamshell plate, you get it from Wade's shop I think.

It is a sweet moment...she smiles and she kind of nods in agreement. Definitely one more reason to romance and king Alistair in Origins...its a 100% more than the other three LI options get. Does he do the same thing to a Mistress?

OMG it's pathetic how this makes my heart melt. Good story telling Bioware!

You know, he was slightly sweeter to my mage pc than my queen. I'm working on Awakening with her to see what my ending will be with him.

And yet you couldn't just do that. You had to make sure everyone knew. Interesting.

LOL! Thanks knight! Just good story telling you know! Boys are just mad they can't get their swamp witch and their demon baby.

Nope, she's actually female. Yes, there are women out there who hate Al.

She is an unabashed Loghain fan-girl...Where did I put my cheese for pelting purposes....

It is all in good fun, I hope I don't offend. People can like who they want. Loghain has his qualities, I just don't recommend watching the scene with him and Morrigan. Yuck. The dead wife thing, just yuck.

No, this is the Clamshell plate:

It would make more sense for it to be something Wade has made, since a the player's version of the armor Alistair is wearing is found in a dwarven ruin and belonged to a dwarven paragon (maybe Al's get up is a gift from the king of Orzammar?)

Yes, he even calls her "love".

I thought his cameo with my female mage was more loving than with my Queen pc. I was surprised. Am working my way through Awakening with her to see what the ending will be, if the darn thing doesn't crash on me every 20 minutes.

Heh, I actually do like Alistair (although he annoys me frequently). After my first runthrough, he was my favourite character, but then I picked up Loghain on my second run and was smitten. I also had crushes on Sarevok in BG (thank goodness for Aeryn's awesome Sarevok romance mod for ToB Posted Image) and Canderous in KotOR. What can I say, I like the bad boys, never ever the romance interests. *sniff*

Thats just cause you can't have them I guess. You know what they say about wanting the things you can't get? I didn't think I'd like Loghain, but when I played through as a HNM and sided with him I changed my mind. I just like Alistair more. Yes there are parts where he is annoying (in the fade gets me) but he is so sweet and his innocense is cute. There is quite a bit more to him if you go through his dialogue in the toolset, a lot of things he is supposed to say aren't showing up in game.

Ali seriously looks hot in that screen where he first enters Vigil's Keep.  *growl*

I know, too bad that Templar had to be walking beside him Posted Image.  Now having just Alistair with his men behind him would of been an even more sexier scene Posted Image

I had to figure it out on my own, I have some programming experience. However, it is possible to read all possible dialogue options without having the ability to edit anything, which will prevent anything happening that would mess the game up. You actually have to check out the resource to edit anything. I can tell you how to view it if you have the toolset. It is very easy. Reading through has opened up new conversations with companions. I have fixed some of the bugs so in MY game they work, but I have no idea how to fix it for other people.

Hirol's Defense.

Ali seriously looks hot the entire time he's in Awakening. Being king seems to agree with him.

is it something I can open up in the game (I use the PC Version) or is it something I download from the site here?

This is a gush post more than anything. So, I just finished my Queen Cousland playthrough an hour or two ago, and the post-coronation ceremony was just... ahh. It was so worth it. You could practically see the love radiate from Alistair. He gives you the sweetest smile after his speech (amongst other things)!

*MELT* <3

I'm wondering though, does he smile the same way if you made him king under different circumstances? Like, if you didn't harden him, or if you didn't romance him at all? Just curious.

Can't wait to hop into Awakening to see his cameo. x3

It installed with the game, and is probably in the start menu. I'm going to have to figure it out. I started working on some armor, but just haven't had the time. I do wish someone would do a mod that fixes broken dialogue and animation that doesn't add or change anything. They all seem to tweak thing that I don't want tweaked.

The little grin at post-coronation is something Alistair gives everyone, I believe. Add meaning as you will.  It could be facetious if he hates your PC, friendly if you're his bro, or "I'm mentally undressing you as we speak" if that applies. LOL

Download here, it takes a bit to install. Let it do it's thing and then you can pm me if you want and I'll walk you to the dialogue. If you feel comfortable with it, I can tell you how to fix a few minor issues with Alistair's conversations that aren't showing up properly in game. I am working on some of the bigger issues that I have found, I just wish I knew how to get it into a DAzip or something for others to use.
