I might actually ... redo ... my canon game for what, 5th time, because when I look at my older screenshots, it's hard to go back to the original arms. They didn't bother me before, but tmp's mod was a huge improvement. It'd give me an excuse to use the tucked version of the default hairstyle I like for her. I really like the messy ponytail look, too! Decisions, decisions!

Edit: Plus more of Alistair sexytime. MOAR.

Oh, by the way, when I talked about why I liked my dwarf + Alistair romance, it was because Alistair addressed the height issue and dismissed it as irrelevant. I really liked that. I had already romanced Zev three times in the past (on elves) so I knew he didn't have anything dwarf specific so I was wondering what my reason for Brosca + Zev would be. Turns out it wasn't hard at all -- I usually have Oghren in my group and I liked their party banters and how well Zevran treated Oghren. He just seemed to fit in with that dynamic better so that whole thing flowed a lot easier. Plus y'know, having a sister being a noble hunter and the whole seedy way of life meant not really blinking at Zev's past either. This is a fun game. I'll be sorry to see it wrap up. I haven't really decided how things are going to end post-Landsmeet so we'll see.

Perhaps we should appoint TMP as the Dwarves' second Messiah. The first being Bhelen.

I have yet to get lil' dwarverine to that point, though. I am doing Orzammar first for the ability to say that for once I didn't leave it for last and I wasn't trying to throw myself into pools of lava out of irritation.

Yuki, you take amazing screenshots. I think you have a lot of opportunities with finding the one thing you like about Deep Roads and your dwarf and have a screenshot session there. On one of my games, I went out of my way to position my dwarf and Shale at the anvil like they were sharing a moment with Shale looking at the platform she was created on right before the dwarf destroyed it as-agreed for Cairdin. Other times, she'd be surveying the damage on the Deep Roads, taking the sights in (this is the dwarf that will return to Orzammar to reclaim what the empire once lost, if possible). Just sooo many more opportunities on a dwarf.

I like Addai's screenshots of her and Alistair in the elven lands, particularly when they both stood by the lake. (I think that was her rose conversation moment?)

Orzammar is SO much easier to tolerate on a Dwarf for me. This doesn't bode well for my other characters at all that I'm really only enjoying my dwarves.

Zevran/Missa Brosca OTP imo.

I also love the Zev/Oghren banter, seems a lot more equal then Zev just strutting around and deflecting people. Just... argh, cannot explain well in like a sentence, but it's just perfect for me, so intense and fun to write too. Even if your duster is an emotionally stunted idiot like Missa, it works.

Zevran gets being a duster. He gets it. The others? Yeah. Not so much. Oghren maybe, but Missa isn't a drinker and thus hates him post anvil, and is reluctant to fix him. (Mammy issues!)

Be interested in your duster's decisions so far, to see if they overlap with mine, lulz.

*ETA* GDI I THOUGHT THIS WAS DWARF THREAD! Sorry for over excitable dwarfyness.

Yeah, woo Alistair amirite >.>
*dissapears*

...wait, I've been writing Alistair porn today, I am relevant fan. Carry on.

I actually redid the rose conversation a dozen times when I realized, that yet again it was coming right after crowning Harrowmont. I ended up in the Diamond Quarter, where the lava flows down the wall.

lol I almost made a comment about keeping it to the dwarf thread or something, but didn't because I didn't want it to be taken the wrong way.  But it's become about a million times funnier in my head since you actually mistook the thread.  :D:D  *hugs soignee*

I do prefer the slimmer legs and fingers, though.  But this is my non-preference for stubby and chubby.

Speaking of skinny arms, I Posted Image the elf fix, too.  Talk about stick arms.

I dunno. I like the rounder, stockier features for the dwarves. It fits them imo and helps make them visually different from humans and elves as they should be. It'd be weird for them to have dainty, thin hands. It makes them look like  mole people from the lost planet zyzygsxisz or something.

My Brosca gets Zev too. for all the reasons mentioned above. Alistair just doesn't fit for me.

Alistair: The arl took me in, I lived in the stables, the chantry sucked
Tryna: ...I had to lie kill and steal to survive...
Alistair: O.o

I don't think dwarf legs are any thinner, just shorter. Differences in armor can change the perception though. I love the more pronounced curves though, and that it's done without the dwarves looking downright fat. They're voluptuous now. TMP should be working for Bioware I think. He outdid the originals of all the races.

Aw, thank you.  I took videos there too.  I do try to find out of the way spots for videos and screenshots.  The scenery is there, and it's boring to have all your conversations in camp.  Plus I get a kick out of traveling around with just Alistair in the party sometimes.

I meant the legs in the original seem skinnier.

I agree about tmp!  Grab him, Bioware!  One thing I've meant to say about both tmp and DahliaLynn's scenes is that it's evident they both have a fine sense of emotional impact, especially the emotional content in small details.  I'm a fan.  Posted Image

Heh, it probably does suit them but it's my personal preference.  One reason I love tmp's fixes is that the human and elf hands are more feminine while the arms, in the elf at least, are bulkier- which is to say healthy-looking.

He really needs to have a talk with Riordan about revealing relevant information in a nice, succinct and timely manner. Riordan probably would have pulled you into a corner while Teagan was briefing Eamon on the situation with Loghain. Posted Image

It appears I have retaken the ToP bug.  At least there's a great Alistair video in this one?
