I can play it on the flute. Much better sounding than me singing it.

And it just so happens I have a home knitted poncho in German flag colors, though it's too damned hot to wear right now.

They also have alot of good looking fans, both male and female.

I wonder if they meant to name it after Thane of Mass Effect 2? They had a man named Sten that was mentioned and one of the character's sister is Oriana.

Are we talking about sports?  Because watching people talk about sports is like watching people talk about popcorn popping.  Popcorn popping is exciting, sure, but is it really that exciting?

Or people talking about love scenes with Alastair if we are to generalize.

I assumed it was after "thane" in the medieval sense, a freedman who worked on a nobleman's land.

Are you saying sports are more interesting than sex?  Do you want to be quoted on that?  LOL

I was thinking more of those rather tasty gold, orange, and black clad bare-chested Neo-Ostragoths showing off their piericed nipples for the cameras in South Africa. But yeah, I suppose you count too. :P

What about Alistair playing soccer? We could spend 5 minutes dicussing his game, and two hours discussing him in the locker room showers after the match.

Watching sports is imaginary, too.  But whether imaginary Alistair is more interesting than a bunch of men running around kicking a ball... on that I suppose we'll have to differ.

I like the way you think.  Posted Image  But Alistair would be a rugby or American football player, not a soccer player.  ^^  points upthread to the burly shoulders

Yes because national teams made up of real people representing their nations in games that are watched by millions if not billions with great passion, is as real as a video game character that a few girls fantasisze over on an internet forum.

Would make him a decent goalie. More surface area to block the ball with.

Now if we were talking aesthetics and which sport Alistair would look the best playing, I vote nude oil or mud wrestling

It's one thing to go out and hit something yourself.  Watching someone else do it... zzzzz

I have never seen an American refer to it as 'American Football' before. I can't believe the first time I did was online when it's at least spelled differently...
