I thought you enjoyed the grief.
And I'm rooting for Germany, they have friggin Müller!
I'm rooting for Germany too, because I used to root for them (so I can get out my old Germany flag lol).

I can play it on the flute. Much better sounding than me singing it.
And it just so happens I have a home knitted poncho in German flag colors, though it's too damned hot to wear right now.
They also have alot of good looking fans, both male and female.

Are we talking about sports? Because watching people talk about sports is like watching people talk about popcorn popping. Popcorn popping is exciting, sure, but is it really that exciting?
That depends: has something exploded?Addai67 wrote...

I assumed it was after "thane" in the medieval sense, a freedman who worked on a nobleman's land.Kryyptehk wrote...

I wonder if they meant to name it after Thane of Mass Effect 2? They had a man named Sten that was mentioned and one of the character's sister is Oriana.

Watching sports is imaginary, too. But whether imaginary Alistair is more interesting than a bunch of men running around kicking a ball... on that I suppose we'll have to differ.Herr Uhl wrote...

What about Alistair playing soccer? We could spend 5 minutes dicussing his game, and two hours discussing him in the locker room showers after the match.

Yes because national teams made up of real people representing their nations in games that are watched by millions if not billions with great passion, is as real as a video game character that a few girls fantasisze over on an internet forum.

I have never seen an American refer to it as 'American Football' before. I can't believe the first time I did was online when it's at least spelled differently...Addai67 wrote...
