Wait what about rugby? I just associate Alistair with very English-y things, and rugby is English as. Oh god, cannot unsee him as a rugby player. Being in chantry's official team... He'd be wing attack. Nyep.

What about Alistair playing soccer? We could spend 5 minutes dicussing his game, and two hours discussing him in the locker room showers after the match. But Alistair would be a rugby or American football player, not a soccer player. ^^ points upthread to the burly shoulders
Would make him a decent goalie. More surface area to block the ball with.
Now if we were talking aesthetics and which sport Alistair would look the best playing, I vote nude oil or mud wrestling
Okay can I scream Tim Tebow now?Because Tim Tebow and Alistair look excatly the same...
Oh my gosh I was actually thinking of a sport Alistair could be playing in a AU story I'm cooking up
@soignee I am finally slowly catching up with your story I am at where Missa is getting out of Ozammar

Think of all the visible skin in soccer.
Plus, you get riots instead of tailgate parties after a match. Definitely win.And I'd rather have drunken tailgating than riots. That's the best part of a football game!
Not scrawny:
Uhhh...I was going to say something, but I completely forgot now.....
Ummmmm...mmmmm..
Oh, yeah. Drunken tailgate parties were so second grade. I've graduated since then with a PHD in civil inssurection.
Besides, tailgate parties don't have tear gas, shield-bashing cops, and the opportunity to completely refurnish your house with whatever you can pilfer from the local Ikea before it burns to the ground.

Tim Tebow does not look like Alistair. I only know that guy because I want to punch him in the balls for eternity.
Though I do not agree with the ball punching thing, I do agree that he doesn't look like Alistair.

Riots, good times. I learned about not mocking people that are a head taller than you and in a group whose team lost the hard way.
Good times.
And having people going to my house after their team lost when I judged, marvelous.

I actually love taking pictures of people with tat's,and I am still think of getting one for the right price. And I think Missa would fit right in in Ashville, everyone has tattoo's there.

Is it OOC to write a hardened Alistair be tough about return to Ostagar? I don't mean not tough, but all the fiction treatment I've seen is him sobbing over it. At the point in the story he's not as naive politically, but...

I know a tattoo that I'd get if I didn't know a guy who had it. Darth Vader riding a unicorn.
That is as awesome as it gets.

Oh god I hate Tebow so, so so so much.
@Soignee--I can see it. I think his reaction would change depending on how far into the story you do Ostagar, and whether or not he was "hardened" in your story. But I think under the right circumstances he could see Ostagar as a reminder of how important your quest is, rather than just sob sob poor me.

I think the circle tattoo is a bit of a throw off I know she needs tatoo's but that one is misfitted, but that's just my and my ramblings with tattoo designing
I think it would be more interesting to see Alisatir debate with himself about Ostagar, about what his place in all of this really is, not hardened but is getting ready to step into his family legency..

Really? Alistair doesn't even mention his connection to Calian so seeing him sob over a king is a bit much. They only met like once or twice in their lives, no?soignee wrote...
