Well, Alistair does tend to have an overly romanticized view of family (Goldanna anyone?) and Cailan died at Ostagar where Duncan and the others did so he's already going to be having a hard time with that.

No one ever seems to mention Duncan, though. You know that Cailan was riding into battle with Duncan and you also apparently know which ogre killed Cailan so shouldn't these stories also find or at least look for Duncan's body as well?

Exactly why there's suspicion he isn't really dead. no body, and no death scene.

As for Alistair, I don't know why he gets written as sobby. Because when I've done RtO, he's always come across as angry, a little sad at a point or two but mostly angry.

So...happy glitches, Warden's Keep for some reasons is hosed this playthrough. I took the quest but it never appeared on my map, so I used the console to get starfang. My lovely and awesome darkspawn daggers are becoming less effective as I move through the game. Now, the script gives you the one handed and 2 handed version. supposed to be one of each. But apparently I got lucky...and got 2 of each. Maybe I should play the lottery today...

Sobby??   He seemed very restrained and courtly to me.  Mostly thinking of Cailan as king and not as brother.

It does warm my heart at the end to hear him talk about avenging his brother Cailan, especially after RtO.  Mainly because Alistair can finally acknowledge his family publicly.

I had never heard of this Tebow guy but I'm sorry, Alistair blows him out of the water.

I did spend my commute wondering what position on a football team would best suit Alistair.  My initial thought was quarterback, and he's probably fast enough that he could do it.  He'd be one of those big guys who'd be dragging half the defensive line with him as he takes the ball across the goal line himself.

Too tall for a running back, not wiry enough for a wide receiver, but maybe a safety or tackle.  Lots of tooth-shattering tackling.  To the shouts of "for the Grey Wardens!!!!"

I've told this story a million times but I got Wynne's preachy talk about Alistair on the way to my first RtO game.  It lent a very special underline to the WTF I and my character uttered at that exchange.

I have to ask... how is Sims 3? I stopped after Sims 2, and never moved on after hearing about some of the low ratings of 3.  Now I'm thinking about it again.... Having a Sim Alistair is tempting!!

edit: Also, can you still use all the cheatcodes? I got too used to cheating all their needs so I could just concentrate on building & stories.
