My mom was a dairy farm wife but when my parents split up she became a vegetarian.  One of her declarations of independence.  Fortunately for us when we visit her, she'll still cook meat for other people.  And she sometimes eats bacon.  I had another vegetarian friend who would go off the reservation for sausage.  *why ask why*

I know some people who will actually claim that they are vegitarians because they don't eat red meat which is, frankly, ridiculous as that just means they won't eat red meat but they're still fine with chickens.

It's pretty much accepted that fish doesn't count as meat, though, which has always confused me.

My mom was still eating fish for a while, but she said she opened a can of tuna and imagined the tuna swimming in the ocean and then that was out, too.  She's pretty fanatic.  She won't even kill bugs.

I am glad I have no such scruples!

Animal abusers are disgusting. People who neglect animals are idiots who should just not get them in the first place. We ended up with a dog (shih tzu) because my cousin didn't have time or the patience to take care of it. Loser.

I don't like dogs as much as cats, but if I do ever get a dog it'd be a German Shepherd or a Labrador. Probably a mixed breed that resembles them though xD I don't have room for big dogs though, and little dogs are meh.

We got our German Shepherd, Daisy 6 years ago. Her owner was medically discharged unexpectedly from the army, and had to move. the poor guy was only a Private, and couldn't afford the flight for two dogs out of Alaska. My friend called me, knowing we had been looking for one (it was her big German line shepherd that convinved me, before that I swre I'd never have a GSD because of the hip problems). The shelter dog we were looking at fell through the next day, and we took Daisy in.

Our second dog was supposed to be a small one. However, when we moved to Washington in 2007, we stayed with a friend. Due to friend turning into a complete douche and telling his girlfriend he was divorced, but telling the ex he didn't WANT divorced, and the two meeting, we ended up moving to a hotel. The ex decided he couldn't see his kid without the court approving the house, where MY kids were sleeping on air mattresses at the time. I wasn't risking myself getting in any contact with child services. When we got housing on base, we went to get our stuff, and found him dead, he overdosed on his pain meds. His ex wife couldn't handle the dog...so we kind of inherited him. Shepherd/Malamute mix. NOT SMALL!!...lol But he's turned into an awesome dog for us.

I don't wear fur...but mainly because I'm just not into fluffy/girly stuff. I did get a very awesome leather jacket for my anniversary in 2005. THAT I wear.

Frankly, I like meat, and need to eat red meat to keep my iron up. I am also happy to allow polyesters give me my furry softness (ain't science grand!). However, my favorite hunk of flesh is pictured below.
