Actually I learned recently that Cesar sells a barbarian helmet.  Haven't actually checked the old boy's inventory, though, that was just on the Wiki.

It's true! I checked it the other day. I thought that, besides the Thane helmet, the only other one you could get was the one sometimes dropped by the Blackwood flunkies.

Yep he sure does.  It really doesn't look as sexy on Zev though.  I put it on Gilmore

Yeah, elves can't really pull it off.  You need the bulky shoulders and neck to get that proper "I could break you in two but I'd rather kiss you" effect.

The requirement removal rod that comes with it doesn't do anything but strip the requirements, you don't have to use the actual upgrade wand if you're worried about that.

I haven't used it for very long so I couldn't tell you.  Maybe others have more experience.

I haven't used it for very long so I couldn't tell you.  Maybe others have more experience.

It's never done anything odd with my games. But I tend to use the requirement removal more. Since it removes the strength requirement from armor/weapons as well.

Adding additional helmets via the Toolset is actually fairly simple.  Since you're adding something that's already in the game all you do is:

File
New
Item

Base Item Type: Helmet Medium
Item Variation: Medium Helmet 1A
Material Progression: All Metal
Material Type: (this = the tier of the item)
Item Properties: (this is where you put in your item stats)

Save
Right Click on the name tab of the item and go to Export then Export w/o Dependant Resources

File
New
Script

Copy then paste this script into your script window.  Next remove the two additional lines since you're only adding one item.  After that replace the name ser_hdarmor w/ the name of your helmet. 

Save
Right Click on the name tab of the item and go to Export then
Export w/o Dependant Resources

Enable the console if it isn't already enabled.

Activate your console w/ the tilda key then type in: runscript (name of your script)  If you were sucessful it should say sucess after you push enter.

I'm debating whether to start learning the toolset or not.  It's a b*tch to learn, I hear?  My interest in the game is winding down so it seems kind of late in the day to put that much effort in.  OTOH, you people really raise the bar in terms of PC appearance.  LOL  I suppose I don't care that much anyway.  Gameplay and especially story is more important to me than fiddling forever on their appearance.

The one really annoying thing about the new arcane warrior I'm working on is that I'd like her to be older, but the complexion slider in CC is awful.  You go from young/healthy-looking to wasting skin disease in the first jump.  I'd like just a few fine lines like Leliana has, a bit of weathering as opposed to middle aged.
