Leliana and Zevran would have dealt with romantic relationships before, in contrast to Alistair.

My CEF made it through the game with Alistair in friend zone.  You have to be pretty distant from him.  I don't think I talked much to him that game.  I missed him but it had to be done. 

I've speculated before that both Leliana and Alistair are given hair-trigger romances because it's IC for them- they both really want to fall in love.  Then again, I think all of the romances are pretty easy to turn on and can be turned on accidentally without trying.

Running my first DN play...I have been holding off on the romance triggers so far. If you are careful Lady J you can avoid the romance if you want. In the meantime my DN was consumed with jealous thoughts of revenge on that little inkstain of a baby brother of hers. Chaos erupted in the Assembly when she put Harrowmont on the throne instead of her kinslayer POS Bhelen. Best part...she got the killing blow on the bastard so now she REALLY is a kinslayer. Didn't want to make a liar out of him...

Zevran and Leliana are really easy to shut down without looking like you kicked a puppy. When Leliana starts with the hair conversation, there's a friend line in there. At least for females. I plan to do a HNF/Gilmore run next, just to take a break from the constant Alistair/Zev choices.  When you find yourself hitting esc through half your LI's dialogue...it's time for a change...lol

So I'm going HNF/Gilmore then DCF/Zev. THEN HNF/Alistair again.

HAHA yes that part is very vindicating. Not only do you  have the proof you were set up, you get to kill himfor it, and have it be self defense! Even if you go the full Kinslayer route in the origin, it works out that you now can say "nope, I was set up see??? *waves papers* HA!"

Damn, I keep on getting distracted instead of playing... Singing in Rock Band with my brother at the guitar and any random visitor who wants to on the drums is getting addicting >.>

I can't wait to play Rock Band again...I'm getting rusty.  And I need to work on the drums, since I currently suck at them.  I can do everything else on Expert, but the drums I'm stuck failing at medium.

I never found any proof of Sereda's innocence but my Aeducan left Orzammar behind when daddy turned his back on her and bhelen set her up.  She is a GW through and through now, no family but Alistair now.  But it was sure nice to actually earn the 'kinslayer' tag by killing that PITA.  Next for Sereda...love with a certain Templar.

Oh, no prob.  I'm just not sure there's another way for people to know I've updated other than me saying so, since I'm using the BSN blogs to put it up for now.  Don't want unsuspecting people to spoil themselves on my current fic's ending, since some people will go and read things just because they like the author (I know people do it for my one-shot, they have to be or else no one would click it ).  Just let me know if and when you want the next section!

You've probably got time to catch up - after today I won't have much daily writing time until Wednseday!

On my lone DNF run, I put Bhelen on the throne.  I figured he played the game and won, plus it wasn't going to be my Aeducan who ended the reign of House Aeducan.  It's hard to go against Harrowmont, though.

I found it difficult not to turn Zevran's romance on with my male PC, or Leliana's with any female PC who talked to her at all.  You have the hair thing but then there's Marjolaine.  She's like static cling!

I guess for a dwarf its different.  If I tried to swtich allegiances mid quest on other characters I got told by the guy I messed up on the firsst one that he didn't trust me.  I didn't even think to look.  Ahh well I knew Sereda was innocent, and I got to kill the little bastard.  Like I say, Orzammar is nothing to my PC now, just a place of bad memories.

Hmm maybe I should play my HNM then before my DCF. Then I can grab 2 of the few achievements I'm missing. Leliana and Morrigan.
