@Jess -- was going to say that I think this is your best dwarf yet. She's got so much character and personality showing. My dwarf has a scar on her left cheek and really, sometimes she looks great (like it's healed and barely there) and sometimes she looks haggard (all blotchy and red). It's all about the light in the game and where you are playing. You cannot look good everywhere.

Edit: I like to think of my dwarf's scar as someone wearing brass knuckles or a lot of rings on one hand and swinging that sucker right in her face. Also VirusCat had been working on a NPC project where she gave facelifts to everyone. I don't know why it's not up anymore or if it's just hidden or what, but I liked what she did for the DC origin. Rica looks the same, but less gaudy with makeup. Leske shows up as having broken front teeth. That was interesting. =p

Thanks Gilsa!  I'm actually happiest with her and Serena out of the three I've done. Speaking of Serena, since she managed to finish the game, I should go commission shopping. The scar I ended up with can be viewed as something she got in a knife fight, or a cat fight (Jarvia...you nughumper) , or even at Mam's hands. Though Mam's abuse seems to be more verbal than physical, I can see an errant broken bottle being thrown at Brosca.. Or since there are 3 of them, a bit of everything.

I will say tmp's tucked hair mod has done so much for dwarves. I remember starting the game way back in November and thinking that the default styles looked especially fussy for dwarves so I just picked the messy hair for my first character. Now they can look practical and sexy!

So it wouldn't be too far off to imagine she flung an empty bottle at you, and it may have broken near your face adding a scar...cool.

Added bonus, Zev saying she's beautiful like it's glaringly OBVIOUS will have even more squee factor.

That's true too. I almost started over as a warrior to make it fit, because rogues should be dodging and crap. But ya know, she's just not THAT kind of rogue that's all. She's still conniving, and street smart as all get out, an excellent thief and lockpicker.

She is pretty!  But like you said, her life shows in her face.  I would like to have at least one PC who is a little older and little more rough-ridden.  I figure they'll have dragged Herja to Ferelden in literal chains, and that would not have been the worst of her predicaments, so she's not going to look like a fashion model.  If I can figure out the toolset, that is.  It's a big if. 

Thanks! It's harder than I thought to do pretty but not classic pretty. I'm still having trouble with her. The skin around her eyebrows is blindingly white for some ungodly reason I can't figure out. I'm happy with everything else though.

I never thought of that angle for a mage. I actually linked a mod last page, that has a scar that says "Witch" like it was carved into the skin. And it's set to work in the CC even.

Well, she would have had a former life as a bandit in the Anderfels.  So they're real scars, like hit-in-the-face-with-a-sword type scars.  Your dwarf's are... can you call scars tasteful?  LOL  They look realistic.
