I don't know. Maybe I expect him to understand that my poor Cousland girl is not going to murder a father right in front of his daughter, because she experienced the same thing. An anger blinding him from this, is not really appealing or sexy to my unnamed female Cousland sweetheart.
Hmmm... my girls would probably be more mad about being called poor girls or sweethearts

But realy, we should stop. I am having ten deja vus right now, like I've already said all this a million times![]()

Hmmm, now I am really tempted to create such a tragic female Cousland. What should I name her? Any suggestions anyone?
Caligula, after my cat. IDGAF if you're making a female PC

Anyways,
@ phaonica, my female Cousland is going to dislike Duncan for what he did. Wow, I can't get this girl of mine out of my head. I need to have a playthrough with her!

My cat is superior to the historical figure! All PCs should be named after my cats. Zero, Caligula, Maia, Lisa, and Michu.

The epilogue card is extremely vague. A drunk guy who claims he'd been a Warden and a prince once is pspotted at a Starkhaven tavern. That's it. It could be him or not, it could be a rare occasion that he's in this condition or a habit, we simply don't know.KnightofPhoenix wrote...
And at that moment, he wouldn't care if you lived or die, hence why he abandons you. He might come to his senses later (so to speak. He becomes drunk which is quite the opposite of coming to one's senses), but the damage would have already been done.
People get drunk when they want to forget, to numb the pain. Self-loathing is a "good reason" for drinking, Oghren is an example for that.
Then you expect too much of him. The Landsmeet is scripted in a certain way. A sudden concern for Anora's well-being is not working as intended. You simply can't roleplay this way unless you let your Warden take the blame for being strangely tongue-tied and completely unable to communicate her intentions, which makes the situation as much her failure as Alistair's. She sucked as a leader and as a lover at this point.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

Bla bla bla...
Edit: Oh, my human noble is called Breanna (meaning exalted, strong) but that's just a variation of her alternate universe sister Brianna.

Just....well Duncan is excused then.

I am pretty sure there was an option to say that she can't kill him because she feels its wrong.
Sure, we can't say it in detail, but for RPing purposes, it works.
Otherwise, I could claim that all those who hardened Alistair are anti-social a-holes because it's scripted that way.

Haha, the IDGAF was in reference to giving your character a male name even if she's a female. Not at you making a female PC in general
Make her try to get in Duncan's pants at the beginning of the game!

Aww, you can call your girl "poor" and sweetheart, if you wanna. Just not my PC's

lol And this is precisely why I should read posts more carefully. For a minute I was like "umm...what happened to Yuki
Well the thing is, I am making her to be very...proper and classy. I don't think trying to get into someone's pants in front of her father (and that someone being nearly as old as her father) to be proper....
Mind you I am making her that way so she can be charmd by Alistair and not Zevran.

One line doesn't change one's outlook in life.
Not talking is not a good plot twist.
I prefer to interpret things in favor of the companions, you prefer to interpret things in favor of your Warden.
*shrugs* Different strokes for diferent folks.

One line in the Landsmeet, or lack thereof, also doesn't change one's outlook in life.
Maybe she gets hurt everytime she mentions it and just expects Alistair, whom she told him everything, to know this all by himself. I sure know women in real life who are like this and who expect their loved ones to remember without being told to.
I find this to be a perfectly valid way to RP it.
And it's not in favour of anyone. It's in favor of the story I have in mind, Warden and companions included.
