While I respect your right to like her wholeheartedly, Anora is the one character I unabashedly hate.
I get Loghain, even, but I just can't stand Anora.

Oh I had fun with her for the first time with Serena. She gets to the landsmeet section and has to rescue the woman. Well, this smells familiar...oh gee a setup, how clever. Ok chickie, you wanna play...let's dance. I'll go "save you from howe", and I'll give you my support (crosses fingers behind back) it's all good.
Then we march into the landsmeet and Serena gets all thinky. Aha...this is like the assembly. Bhelen vs Harrowmon human style. Alistair's king, you lose, but thanks for playing! And next time princess Eyeleashes, never mess with a dwarf when power is on the line.

As far as i can tell that mostly boils down to whether people choose to support her or not and subsequently how that turns out during the Landsmeet. I like her personally; she's firm, knows what she wants but isn't unreasonable.soignee wrote...

I agree. I usually crown her or have Alistair joint-ruling with her because she's a smart cookie and she's a woman in a dog-eat-dog world. Holds her own just fine.tmp7704 wrote...

I've made her queen a time or two. But now my mage can't play Awakening because she can't see Alistair >.<
DCF is in Orzammar now though. How do I get to do the proving without irking Rica?

Go ahead and do Provings for Harrowmont. Nevermind Rica, you will still switch back to Bhelen later. Once you do Provings for Harrowmont, go to Vartag and he'll be all crabby with you. Pick the "now Harrowmont trusts me, unlike your other spies" line. Be sure Wynne is in the party when you do this because she will have a dialogue with you. There are dwarf-specific lines for the noble and the commoner. I've never heard the commoner version because I didn't have any points in persuade, but you should be able to reason with Wynne by invoking Rica as an excuse for the switch.
Edit: Sten and Shale will have lines if you go this route, but mostly because you look like a flip-flopper. Just FYI if you care.

To Lady Jess (or anyone else who might know) What is the name of the mod that lets you put on the nice lipstick color in the toolset? Is it at Nexus?
Dracomies, and it's part of Dragon Age Redesigned on Nexus, but you can install just that part.
Thanks LJ!

thank you! I guess I better backtrack and go do the tower then. I don't have Shayle yet. I keep skipping her, I don't know why. my DNF was able to just march in and do the proving without talking to Dulin at all. In fact she was on Bhelen's first quest when she did. This time the proving master just had an apoplexy and said it opens in a few hours.
And Alistair keeps dying on me, so Wynne is probably a good idea...lol

I just finished siding with the wolves again. I was able to RP it alright with this character. I love the cutscene. I forgot to grab one of killing Cammen though.
Nice. I only did this once to get the achievement (then reloaded). The PC gets a really funny look on their face when you walk into the Dalish camp with the werewolves.

Dealing with Caroll at the docks
Tryna: Prove it? Greay warden isn't something you do, it's what you are.
Shayle:

"Alright. That's enough. Let me crush some body parts it can't possibly miss"
Meowwww Shayle.
And then when gregoir sees you and complains about Caroll disobeying the order.

@Jess -- I don't know if they'll ever follow up on Shale (pretty sure she's probably just an one-shot for origins), but with my dwarves, I make sure to max out approval for both her and Wynne just so I can get the epilogue card about them trying to make her into a female dwarf again. In my game universe, it happens so I can feel warm and fuzzy inside for Shale.
Yeah, silly me didn't get her on Serena. Aidan did, and got the epilogue. But...I guess it's ok, I mean Serena was pretty go go go, not stopping for sidetrips that much. She had a bit of tunnel vision...lol

I'm so playing with Shale the whole way for my CEF (she's going to spare Loghain and marry Alistair to Anora, so she doesn't want Ali in the party for fear of accidental flirtage).
Ron Mahariel is completely enamored of Shale, so she's got a permanent spot in the party this playthrough. It's been awhile since I took her along so much, I forgot how freaking awesome she is all the time, in combat and out.
