they're in Gazmodian's Faceworks on Nexus. The only problem I had is it takes ALOT of blending to get your warden to not look like she's 600 years old, because they put it on the oldest, wrinkly face texture. So it takes a good bit of tweaking and blending in the toolset to get the scars to show without aging your face too much.

@Lady Jess

If you have the NVIDIA plug in that lets you view dds files in Photoshop you could open up the facial texture w/ the scar on it from Gizmodian Face works and see if there is a white area above the eyebrow. The file would be named uh_hed_(something). If there is you could just clone tool flesh color into the area.

 Thanks!

Frustration drove me out of the lurky shadows and over to this topic.  I'm doing a runthrough where my HNF is romancing Gilmore.  I can't even talk to Alistair anymore because he's being so sweet, while Gilmore is telling my character that her combat skills suck, and she should stop standing so close to him.

I want to play this through because it made me feel so bad to find Gilmore's dead and tortured body at Fort Drakon.  But it's VERY hard to stay away from Alistair.

Now ... if anyone ever made a romance mod for Teagan, I might not have such a difficult time.:P

I have played that mod and it was a really weird playthrough. It is a very well done mod, it is well thought and executed, but I couldn't get into Ser Gilmore, so I kept romancing Alistair and then reload...  It is worth a try because I got the feeling that he is inspired by Alistair. And you don't really need to romance him, but I guess that going on with the friendship path with Gilmore would make you miss things out.

@Serissia: Thank you for pointing that mod out. I rarely look at the projects here, as I find them very hard to sort... But if you find some other interesting ones, please, do share.

I have it, but I'm too afraid I'd just make it worse, or screw it up completely. I think I'll just have to ignore it and deal...lol

You can do a save as long as you save it to your override folder the Toolset will access it.  So, for example if the original name was uh_hed_ser01_0d you could do a save as to your main override named uh_head_lj01_0d.dds.  Since face textures need a normal file too you would need to copy or save as the normal file and name it uh_head_lj01_0n.dds.

Huh...that particular file doesn't have a _0n. Wonder if that's the problem.

it seems so odd that he'd say that, since at the castle he says in the origin you're the equal of any man on the field or off, and that the grey wardens would be fools to overlook you. I got that part and just kinda went O.o

I tried to rp it that he was just being polite when he made that original statement.  But that just made me want to smack him around and challenge him to a duel.  <_<

I haven't finished the playthrough yet.  I finally got to Adore status with Gilmore, so it's a little better now.  I didn't enjoy the feeling that my flirtations were bothering him.  I've started leaving Alistair out of the party, which just feels so weird.  I'm tempted to take breaks and play a different character, but I've had to turn off a lot of my favorite mods for this one, which makes it harder to jump back and forth.

I did enjoy Gilmore sitting on the ground and telling a story to my mabari.  You are right, that's Alistair-inspired.

If it's lacking a normal file you should be able to copy another normal file and then rename it to link up w/ the original.  I just opened uh_hed_mgfa_0n.dds and it's just a normal looking face.  Just copy uh_hed_mgfa_0n.dds to your desktop and rename it to match w/e the name of the scar file is.

I also had zero persuade on my character and did not talk to Anora prior to Landsmeet so I failed to persuade them to marry each other. Got the following:

Alistair: "What? This is a joke, right? Right? Why aren't you laughing?"

Anora: "It will never happen. Not even if the Maker himself appeared in this room and commanded it."

Alistair: "What she said."

I did nothing! I can't remember what convo this was, might have been the one where Alistair was telling him he could have eaten human flesh.

They have two versions of that face with the scars actually (and the other ones too)  The ones with names containing "_fg" are for females and relatively smooth. The ones for males are with "_mg" in their names are for males and do have wrinkles. Maybe that's the reason you have that eyebrow issue, you've used the male texture version by accident?

well that might have been it. Of course now I'm using non-default eyebrows, but the white zone is definitely less obvious. Thanks TMP!

So Payroo finished another commission and while it doesn't say who it was for I've got to say it looks a lot like sabreene's mage Amara. Of course, I'm not sure if it is her but if it's not the resemblance is uncanny.
