I rarely get the "both jump for the ogre" moment so I was surprised when I saw it on my DN+Alistair playthrough, but Alistair had the derp face, ugh.


Thought it was a waste of a screenshot so on my next game, it happened again! Only this time, my dwarf had the derp face.


So I thought, man, I can't win! Later on, I did get some fantastic ogre-kill shots for both of them seperately so I'm a happy dwarf!

Alistair -- I really like how dramatic and clean looking this image is. Just him and the ogre while the city burns. No spells or dead bodies to muck up the background.

You'll do great I'm sure.  I'll have to catch up on my reading later, short on time now.  I'm enjoying the people part of my vacation, not so much the OMIGODITSFREAKINHOT and the no air conditioning part.

P.S. to no one in particular, it is even more embarrassing scrolling past naked Alistair in an airport or by my mother than it is at work.  Lessons learned on my vacation!

I told someone about my worm lasering/mating behavior job for the first time while they were at an airport and got blamed for people looking at them like they were crazy because they were laughing so hard.

*nods* I kept Alistair with me because he was my best pal, my Leske 2.0. It really worked out with him doing the DR for me and me agreeing to stay in Denerim to help him rule (not as a chancellor). And I actually have a harder time wearing Legion of Dead armor on a DN because the Legion is really for disgraced nobles and casteless who want to regain their honor. The DN is/was royalty so I just don't think she would relate to them as much. Respect them, yes, but understand them as peers? Not so much. So I keep her in the dwarven noble armor instead. And I wore the Legion of Dead armor for Brosca as a visual reminder of what Sigrun said to me in Awakening about how the Legion changes a person and how she went from a street rat to someone of worth with the Legion. Her oath meant something. Since it was pointed out there's little difference between Grey Wardens and Legion of Dead, I wanted to take her attitude and use it in my Brosca game for character growth instead of being a selfish ****** from start to end. Sigrun is very inspiring. I was honored to wear the Legion of Dead armor for Brosca. I am waiting for the patch before I can run into Awakening to see her again.

I cannot stand Luthias at all. He goes down to Orzammar to ask for aid but ended up seducing the princess instead and then cheated on her with a rival tribeleader that he wasn't interested in a relationship with, leaving Scaea high and dry as a Surface dwarf? I know it says she returned from Orzammar but I'm going to be it wasn't the warmest reception. At least she got her revenge and likely sabotaged him in the end...although that 'last night' thing bothered me, too. She bribed the man who she left for cheating on her to sleep with her in exchange for some nice armor that didn't work? It sounds a little too desperate for my tastes.

I don't know where Tyna stands with Alistair yet. Though he's doing that "something on your mind" thing now...must resist.

She's being hard to dress. I got  Sigrun's armor into Origins for her for now, and I'll be getting the reward IA gives after crowning a king in Orzammar, but i'm rather liking the Legion set. Especially since I'm making her a hybrid dual wield/Shield and sword warrior.

Wierd random thing...since playing Leliana's Song, I am suddenly finding Tryna suspicious of her...wasn't expecting that. But I'm having the best time choosing lines because it's what she would say, instead of worrying about getting approval. Like telling Morrigan asking questions was my favorite way to annoy her followed by offering to poke her with a stick, questioning Leliana's vision as a skeptic, even asking sten if he was flirting...lol

And hey, bonus, I told Alistair being raised by dogs explained the smell, and that I dreamed of choking him and still got +5.

I've decided not to worry about who's personal quest I get, or who leaves, or what epilogue slides I get for her companions (Zev being the exception here of course). She's just going to be who she is and that's life.

TBH, the feastday pack kind of trivalizes the approval/disapproval system. It's liberating to just pick dialogue you want to say without the long-term fallout.



Hey, I remember you being upset you lost your modded armor from the DN origin. Were you able to resolve that? I lost my wand when I got exiled -- would reinstalling the mod work?

There are lots and lots of tattoos there, I beleive this one is from no 82.

Yeah my Brosca is all about redemption. People who see the originb as just thuggish dusters and not much else makes me sad.



My Brosca viewed Alsitair as this kid brother dhe could tease about girls, and be salroka.

I ended up having to run the Origin again with them disabled. nothing I did helped. withonly one mod though, you might be able to completely uninstall/force load/save/reinstall.

Or...he made a mistake, they both had their hearts broken and she forgave him in the end.  >.>  Absolutely nothing in that story indicates that she even wanted revenge, let alone sabotaging him, nor did it appear to be a bribe.  She still loved him, even if he broke her heart, and gave him one last gift to try and help him.

I'm leaving them alone too. I actually want the fallout. It's more natural to really have people not all like her, or just not get along all that well. Or have ups and downs, or disagreements. Or even have someone storm off in a snit. It's been fun really.

I definitely don't see it that way. Though her and Alistair are definitely not best buds or anything. Yet. It'll come, but right now he fluctuates between slightly grumpy and "omg I'll kill her myself". He was pretty funny when I recruited Zev and told him collecting castoffs was something she does. But I didn't choose it to be cruel, the girl's a smartass, and definitely has some thuggish qualities (even when she fails the intimidate...lol) but under there is the softy. Even in the Origin she wavered between playing the hardass with Mam, and begging her to love her.
She is still in the "it's better than dust town at least" mind set though, nothing has happened yet to trigger a different view, and to be honest I'm not sure myself what will do that.
