I know this wasn't directed at me but I sort of wanted an excuse to post that picture again even right under another post with it. Also I'm trying to put off doing actual stuff by hanging about the forums like a saddo. In my case it's embarrassing obsession that allows me to take many, many Alistair pictures.

This picture should be on every page of this thread

If you don't like them as LI then you don't have to romance them. You can just assume that, should he survive the game, he'll find someone normal someday.

I agree on Velanna, but Sigrun is awesome. Sure she's really in awe of the surface, but besides that she's tough as nails, can kick Oghren's ass, and a badass lil dead woman.

My mage is romancing Zev now.  I thought I would have been more into it because I realy liked him as a BFF, but LI - not so much.  She would totaly dump him if she met my CE

I thought that until I heard the banters with Shayle and Alistair, and after Taliesen. He may not be as fast as Alistair but man when he gets there, oh my. IF you have the right mods, unfortunately bioware left a ton of bugs in his character. So without ZDF and Gatekisses you miss out.

You don't stay WC for very long and it's not like you're characters are doomed to stay single forever because they can't find a party member they like. There aren't ANY NPC girls in either game you might go for? And just because they aren't in a game doesn't mean they couldn't be in a future one or would be doomed to die a bachelor.

That borders on telling someone how to play, and I won't do it. I HAVE however, if you look back (Yuki's dwarf for example) encouraged people that doubt whether their character should romance Alistair or not to try it.

Hmm... When I tell someone to "do" something, I'm recommending that based on my experience. If I like Alistair, I will say romance Alistair and I will not say that to tell someone how to play their game, I'll just say it because it seems the right thing from my perspective. Does that make sense?

Sure, they go as you make them to be, but when someone asks, I'll rather "help" Alistair's "cause".
