Ok, I had a thought. How about an "action", such as (whisper in his ear) for the transition, then the lines we decided on.

ooh put me down as a vote for "aye" for that one.

Aye Aye Aye Aye!! wait, that kinda sounds like I'm about to burst into a rendition of Crazy Train doesn't it?

Looking at more Bann Teagan comments, I found this little gem:

This is if Alistair isn't in your party. Bann Teagan asks if Ali is still alive and you can say "Unfortunately". Bann Teagan responds thusly:

"Ah. Well, he was always... this is good news, at least. Eamon would have been devastated." (he was about to say "he was always rather odd", talking uncomfortable about his strange nephew before thinking better of it)

Hmmm. I love little glimpses into Alistair's childhood like this.

hmmm puts kind of a new light on the subject...so is he mostly friendly towards him but considers Al a little odd?

Are you working a new mod, cmessaz? I've been gone and am way behind on your stuff. :(

Not a new one. But a new version  that includes BSC. I got Luchaire's permission today.

I still believe that you're awesome.  ;p  Thanks again for walking me through the whole mod thing.  Replay value skyrocketed.  lol

I can't wait for you guys to see the new version. I still need to get input on the transition line though. Right now I have it as (take his hand)

Maybe (take his hand and leans in close)  maybe being a little racier, she is in the mood for a little mystery and nothing quite does that like lowering your voice to a whisper to draw in your lover.

How bout, *holds up bag of goodies*?  Lol, maybe that's more for Zev, according to those screenshots above.  I see in my head, crooking my finger, (telling him to follow me without actually saying anything)  but that isn't worded well for an option line.

Well since I can't provide anything to the constant mod-discussions, I thought I provide pointless nonsense instead.

Hey that's what I'm here for: bearer of bad news and to deliver witty one- liners :innocent:

Can anyone recommend a good mod for armor? I'd like one for a rogue and warrior. I always stick with 'heavy' and 'light. Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Rogue:
Shadow Wardens Armor << Stats for this are taken from actual pieces normally in game so, it's very balanced.
Armor of the Devout << I haven't tested this one yet but it looks really good on the site.

Warrior:
Grey Warden Runic Armor << I usually use this one for Alistair
Warden Shields << Shield that matches the Grey Warden Runic Armor nicely.
Black Templar Armor << Good reskin of the normal Templar Armor; I sometimes use this on Alistair instead.
Orator Vestments << I haven't tested this one either but it looks really good on the site.

Oh, I just remembered this one too.  It's a bit over powered but it's nicely done.  I actually used this all through Origins and Awakening on my last HNF.

Forgotten Equipment << Medium armor with helms for rogue or DW warrior.

oh yea. Nothing gets a mans attention like putting your mouth close to his ear and whispering to him. I definitely would be the seductive whisperer type PC...though others might have other ideas ? thats just my take on it.

I always got the impression that Alistair was a bit of an awkward duck as a kid. Most of it would have to do with his uncertain status in Eamon's household and his own irreverence. I'd say most of my relatives think that I was a bizarre child, but they seem to like me well enough now that I'm an adult.

And from a RP standpoint, you could be being polite as well, so others don't hear you. It's however you want to imagine it. Now if only I could actually figure out how to make the pc DO it instead of say it.

That's not an Alistair only fetish though, Maric had a thing for cheese too.  He actually speaks to the Wardens about a dream he had about Loghain and cheese at the beginning of The Calling.

Maric wasn't quite as bad with the jokes but some of his thoughts to himself really do mirror Alistair's way of thinking.  My favorite is when Maric falls and he thinks to himself "Watch as King Maric tumbles to the ground like a fool!  See him bounce!".

I still think that Alistair's obession with magic is because he's Fiona's son.

Finally someone admits it Posted Image
But to be fair to him, he doesn't rank highest in terms of oddness. In camp or out.

EDIT: I guess I should post a pic?
Well that's a real naked (half) barbarian
