This had crossed my mind, too. If Hawke is some greatly significant historical figure, it seems kind of odd that the person can be played as either male or female. Unless this person actually is a historic figure that "mysteriously disappeared" from everyone's records. I can't wait to mysteriously disappear again, heh.

I'm torn now, I was thinking two things. Since DA2 isn't our wardens.

A: Eff it. I'm making Alistair king for all my romances so Awakening sucks less.
B: Go back and give them ALL the happy grey warden endings. (Alistair not king, PC returns to wardens...happiest ending for both Zev and Alistair)

But, I still cling to hope that someday....

I wonder if this new DA will be compatible with the toolkit. Maybe I'll just make Hawke into Alistair or the PC.  I'll probably have to delete some Maff Effect style player voice acting, and rewrite all the dialogue--which could be tricky to make go with the answers, but....it's so crazy, it just might work!
