Let me amend what I said about not posting a lot anymore.  Sometimes I like to come in and chat and sometimes I don't.  It depends what's going on in the thread atm.  I will quite frankly admit that most of the time what's going on interests me very little, and so I don't post.  I still read every post, however.  if I see something that catches my eye,  I respond.  Most of the off-topicness doesn't bother me, but sometimes, something just rubs me the wrong way.  God forbid I have an opinion or question anything.

I personally love going off topic. I like Alistair, which is what brought me to this thread. But it's all the posters an conversations that make me stay.



If it wasn't for off-topicness, we wouldn't know about Lady Jess being an army wife, or that Sandi shoots worm in coitus with lasers, that KoP is pure Xanatosawesome, or the joys of Ron Mahariel.

Yes, I was referring to your post where you demanded to know why I would post something about the current OT topic in the Alistair thread but I wasn't solely talking about you for the not posting. There have been multiple people I have seen confess not posting due to lack of being on topic.

Note that I didn't say 'I hate it when LadyDamodred says that she doesn't post anymore because no one's on topic when she could just post an Alistair picture and fix that.'

And I get yelled at for posting opinions all the time. Like that one opinion I had that it was a shame my first playthrough involved screwing over Loghain and Anora because I  them.

I don't post much anymore because I haven't found the discussions of late to be particularly interesting.  Pretty much my posting is limited to answering technical questions if I see them while I'm lurking.

I wasn't too thrilled by this mornings news.  The whole ME style prequel just doesn't interest me in the least.  I was hoping for a continuation of our current wardens and more sexy Alistair.

Yeah same... minus the sexy Alistair part.  Though I'm sure Bioware will have another Carthistair clone.  They always do.
