Well, lots of people have Wardens who did something really important and became the king/queen of something. I'd like to see why Hawke is so much more super amazing.

I mean they do something REALLY important.  I can't think of what though, becuase I ahve no imagination.

But they rise up to "champion", and I'm thinking once they get there, they have enough power to do something compeltely world changing.

Yeah, there is an event that changes the world of Thedas forever. I don't know what though.

I think it actually could be cool. The Warden's achievements were pretty localized to Ferelden, and I think DA2 takes place in more locations than just the Free Marches. It's true that My Refugee won't be the hero of the story, but it still could be a cool story.

Destroy all darkspawn? Bah I think its just marketing BS. Trying to make this PC McAwesomesauce more badass than Warden McAwesomesauce and hype up the story. After ending the Blight, Bioware painted itself into a corner. Nothing can be more world shaping than ending a Blight unless Hawke becomes an Avatar of the Maker or something?



Even Wardens who ended the Blights aren't remembered longer than Andraste has been. I don't see how any other being can possibly become more important than that one life that shaped so much of Thedas and its history (for good or ill depending on how you regard her legacy).

I don't know. I get friend requests from people whose posts I've never even seen. I tend to wait until I've at least talked with someone first.

I actually found out about Dragon Age, by the Zevran/M!Warden romance scene that was on a late night show.....
I didn't fall in love with Alistair till I played the game.....
