No, it was directed at Sarah.

Oh really? What was it directed at?

You have the permission to go nuts weeaboo style if you would like.

As long as it is kept out of the dwarf thread.

I never got into Naruto. It started playing on TV around here just about the time that I stopped watching TV regularly.

Edit: I'll admit that the few random episodes I saw made me think that it was probably pretty entertaining.

Sarah....I really hate to break this to you but....I'm a NaruHina fan

I don't like Hyuuga/Uchiha pairings because the creator said that the children would have one Sharingan eye and one Byakugan one and that kind of freaked me out.

I am a fan of Naruto/Hinata and I hope they get together in canon but if Naruto's busy with an Uchiha then I also support Hinata/Kiba.

Its a crack love, the whole two differant clans forbidden romance that could end tragically damnit I wish I had a Itachi/Hinata folder all I got is a music video I made way back
www.youtube.com/watch

I almost passed out when Hinata confessed I was so scared that Kishi was going to kill her off KibaHina is cute as well but I always saw it as a big brother/little sister romance
I did always joke with a NaruSaku fan at work how SasuNaru was cannon, she always wanted to be right

I just despise shounen manga (like, Shounen Jump style stuff) so I just really would rather not deal with that here :x I actually didn't hate it until I encountered the fanbases and just wanted to run and run until I reached Mars or something.

@ Kryy: Yeah, Naruto is frustrating because it has so many ship teases and exactly one confirmed pairing...and that pairing was of two really minor characters and one of them has since died anyway. All other romances were in the past and usually involve one or both participants being dead.

Hey, you should go to AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta). I think you'd have a conniption:lol: But in all seriousness, it is effing awesome and the people are super friendly. I actually prefer the anime fans since they are so friendly and easy going. At least the ones that come out of the basement:P

Okay I'll try to keep my anime/manga fangirl side down then

But I do enjoy reading so many different genre's

I really should make a list of my personal favorite Manga's to read that are mature

Not just from different clans: different clan heirs. Of course, my head-canon has the 'lover' of Itachi mentioned be Shisui so...

And Hinata's confession STILL has not been addressed! I'm honestly not sure if Naruto did say something and it will come up in a flashback or if he just ran off chasing Sasuke and left her hanging.

NaruSaku...that's even scarier than SasuSaku. Why can't she just get together with Lee and make everyone happy? Although I'd prefer Sasuke with her than with Karin.

I've spent a good number of years in anime fandom and I do not miss it at all. I met some nice people but most of them were the most immature, obnoxious people I have ever encountered. Happens in any fandom but I encountered them the most there. I don't dislike manga/anime in general, though. I just don't like most of the stuff marketed toward teens anymore. Except Gundam. I love Gundam.

You could not pay me to go to an anime convention. I'd rather jump off the George Washington Bridge.

I used to love anime, but now access to it is just overkill. It's hard to find a series that's actually good, that doesn't have 200 episodes or something. I avoid television in general, except for the few shows I watch on Hulu.
I started watching Good Guys regularly after it was mentioned on this thread.

Yeah, anime is pretty bad in that department. Either you have the romance anime, with senseless pairings or shonen, with awesome pairings that will never see the light of day.

Ugh, I had to take a break from Bleach because of how many episodes there are. I only the main people, I don't want to listen to other people's backstories.

I went to one anime convention to watch a Koda Kumi concert, and I will probably never attend another. And, yes, it's because of the obnoxious people. Video game conventions are just as bad. I'm taking a game development class right now and some gamer geeks just make me want to punch someone namely, them.

Hmm, that's weird, because most of the otaku I've met have been generally awesome. I've met some of the coolest people I know at anime conventions. Maybe it's a regional thing?

See, that's the problem with anime: filler. The manga's usually better anyway.

I've been going to ACen for five years now and it is seriously amazing. A lot of my friends are otaku and we all go together but they always make fun of me for being the only person not to cosplay wheares they have elaborate ones they've spent months on and compete over who has the most people stop them to ask for a picture. ACen's also where I bought my sword last year. Posted Image

Agreed. I'll stick to video games. Less filler, good stories, good characters, good (only in my head) yaoi romances.

I've not coplayed yet, mostly because I tend to watch anime's where people wear normal clothes. Or I don't want to be the millionth Rukia in the convention.

Yeah too many fillars, I am trying to catch up with Naruto in the anime, but the last anime I properly watched the the Macross Frontier. If I really want to watch an anime I usually watch it on netflix they have Gurren Lagann on istant watch! I'm also trying to watch Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood because I love FullMetal.

But it seems like these days I'm playing games and reading fanfiction on my kindle currently reading Dead Duster Walking, on chapter 11 and enjoying it

I went to a comic convention once; that was like a baptism through fire...I didn't dress up I wore my Chibi head Princess Leia shirt, all the proffesional artist loved my shirt syaing it was both awesome and cute, maybe if I fluttered my eyes I could have got a free picture

Or maybe you just have a higher tolerance, Kryyp? Heh.

To be honest I mainly hate manga/anime with teenage characters. Same with JRPGs. I just find the whole melodrama that accompanies them even more annoying when the characters are so young. The only series off the top of my head I can think that I love with high school age protagonists are the Nabari no Ou manga and the Persona 3/4, Kingdom Hearts, and some Final Fantasy games. The others I've read or played I've either tolerated or actively disliked.
