Hopefully he's more competent in THAT game than he was here.

Yeah I looked it up. The intro seems to be a diffeent voice, but when he started his first mission, it was definitely Riordan, I had to look it up before it drove me nuts.

That's like when I watched the entire Fruits Basket anime in half a week or so and one of the characters, Momiji, had a very familiar voice (Funimation reuses their VOs like crazy) but unlike the others I couldn't place him so it drove me crazy until I finally googled it and found out that he was...yoyo kid from that tournament in YuYu Hakashu.

You're added Totoro! But I am no artist sadly. In fact, I think I am a very useless member in these forums.

You tried to make a fanfic.

You're a disgrace to useless forumites everywhere.

I still its funny that Yuki's older brother is voiced by the same man who does Vegeta and Major Armstrong
I'm actually thinking of trying to audition for some voice acting for some small recordings I have been told more then once that I should go into voice acting; I guess all the years in chior and singing paid off not to mention I like to joke around with differant voices.

Ha, yea. Three chapters. Lol why did I even start I have no idea.
When I say I have little patience for fanfics, that's also true of mine.

Well if you have time to kill and people in your head that won't stop talking then it's a great way to pass the time. Plus if you read fanfics and want to complain because there isn't very much of, say, stories about Riordan then the easiest thing to do is just write one yourself. Posted Image

No, it's hot, but only if it's a likable guy to begin with, otherwise, you'd be correct.

Heh, I missed the part of the conversation that must have related to your own usr of the eyebrow. I'm certain that the naysayers must have been wrong. ;)

The eyebrow being used to good effect during the 'where's my templar uniform?' conversation--which I'd never seen before because I never make myself a templar until Alistair agrees to teach it, and the 'why have you remained a templar' line is usually past by then:

I've got my real life eyebrow back, and ya know...it really does have a weaken the knees effect.  Though I gotta say my tent scenes are definitely not Alistair...TMI alert, but dude the man has never seen Zev's tent scene and somehow channeled the Antivan.  Guess I may have to channel Morrigan now...

Is it so odd to think people would enjoy creating an empire, crushing their enemies in process and establishing themselves as ruler of the world? I don't think so really.

As for being competent.... He is bloody Napoleon...he sure as hell is competent...even though he lost in the end. Though considering the fact he fought the British, Russians, Austrians.....and Prussians all at once, can anyone be surprised?

Ok ok....The British and Austrians were decent, nothing more nothing less.

But the Russians had a Tsar almost exactly like Cailan.....and with a general like Loghain to boot.....( seriously, Ostagar is so much like Austerlitz that it's not even funny ).. However unlike Cailan, he listened to this general...( after getting his ass kicked but still ).

Lastly the Prussians....these guys are the ultimate badasses of the 18th and 19th centuries...they once said FU to Russia, France, Austria and Sweden....and beat the hell out of all them despite vastly inferior numbers......Fredrick the Great was one of the greatest leaders of all time, and in Napoleon's mind the greatest.

Not surprising that Napoleon eventually lost to the army Fredrick left behind after his death.

Did I SAY it was odd? No, no I did not. I said I don't see the excitement, of the RTS games. Jut like he doesn't see the excitemnt of some of the games /I/ play. You have a bad habit of misconstruing what people say.

I asked a question there, not formed a statement, while also providing reasons as to why someone would find that kind of thing exciting.

If you start off by addressing something that someone doesn't say, though, it can get confusing. Like this:

Person A: I don't like bears.

Person B: Well I DON'T believe that bears should be hunted into extinction.

It really leaves you wondering if Person B is just saying that or if he thinks Person's A's dislike of bears means that he wants them all hunted into extinction.

Perhaps the DA2 news made people depressed enough to stay away from the forum altogether. I started feeling pretty sad and negative, so I went back to the game. I've been playing instead of talking. The forum is just too unhappy a place right now. It makes me even unhappier. Luckily, I'm taking pictures, though, so I'll be back with new screenshots. ;)

Are you using textures mods or something similar? Cause I think it looks better then default Dragon Age ( then again I haven't played in weeks save for Leliana's song so... )

Nooope, Soon-to-be outdated video card, very few mods and mostly the dialogue/scene tweaking type, but nothing with textures.  It's just the magic of Alistair looking good as usual.

The DA2 stuff has made me cranky, and as all men know, squee is the first thing to go when a woman's cranky.  LOL

I haven't been playing in over a week, not so enthused to get back to it.  I'll probably finish Idun's game and her story eventually, just not in the mood.

I am not mad or sad about DA2 at all. Actually, I am quite interested. Right now I'm chillin' and playing my dwarf and also recovering from completely disassembling my bed frame and putting it back together (using a lot of twine on one part, lol) with a messed up knee.

Lol. I also decided to say F~CK IT to The Stolen Throne and started reading The Calling which is a much more interesting story and less Loghain infested :x

I demand that they plaster grinning Alistair billboards everywhere. Much better than the 10 story high half-naked people we have everywhere here in NYC.
