What do you mean? You've never won the Landsmeet or never asked Loghain to call off his men and settle this honorably? You don't even need a persuade check.Mel_Redux wrote...
I've never been able to NOT trigger that fight.

I think it's supposed to be Thedas (or just Ferelden) equivalent of polite greeting/bow. Similar how it's customary to bow for the Japanese people or something like that?yukidama wrote...
Randomly, but I have always wondered just the heck this gesture was supposed to mean:
And exactly why all of my PCs would know when it was appropriate to do so in that situation regardless of origin.

No matter what I do, the fight ensues and then that chantry lady calls it off and makes us duel.
Now, I never really TRIED to no trigger it. By that point in the game I'm always in such a rush just to get to the landsmeet. So I run around to get the support of all the banns real quick, and always end up missing one.

I like when Anora supports Loghain, you win and STILL trigger the fight. You can insult Loghains honor AND call Anora a ruthless ****. Win/Win situation.
Loghain's response to my impuning his honor. He acutally sounds sad and tired, like "this is what you think of me, child?"

Hmm, that's weird, I've never triggered the fight myself. On my first run I didn't know about the Banns, and I didn't search the rest of Howe's Dungeon, because I wanted to get to the end (I was getting game fatigue after going through Orzammar and the Dalish Camp-_-). But I had max coercion, so I guess I was persuasive enough to just barely win:P

I've only done 3 full ones, all on xbox. I'm currently doing my fourth on PC, which is basically a redo of my HNF on xbox. I also watched hubby do a DNM on xbox if you want to count that too

Right? This doesn't even include my boyfriend's playthroughs, which were pretty much constantly in the background when I wasn't playing.

Kallian Tabris
Elissa Cousland
Tatha Mahariel x 2 complete playthroughs
Emira Tabris
Sula Surana
Aedan Cousland
Eren Cousland x 2 (well, 2nd playthrough almost finished)
Esra Surana
Idun Mahariel- close to finished
In my mind I've played a dozen characters, since I kicked the hell out of Sula, restarting her at least 4 times, and got Sereda to level 12 and a few others to midgame, got Aedan to midgame and restarted him as a rogue, etc. I looked over my games and an average game is 45- 50 hours. So indeed, I have no life.
