I actually haven't had that problem - Kara and Amelia, the two I would consider most canon to me, romanced him so differently that it felt really different. Poor Antalya's kind of the "how do I do things different" playthrough so she doesn't really have a truly stand-alone personality.

Oh, are we doing this now?  I don't complete every character I start, but these either are or will be:
1) Lya Cousland - S&S War - Champion/Berserker/Guardian
2) Bree Tabris - DW Rogue - Duelist/Assassin
3) Kalea Surana - Mage - Spirit Healer/Arcane Warrior
4) Carys Mahariel - Archery Rogue - Ranger/Assassin
Lya's had a couple iterations, but that's her canon form.  And I'll let you guess which one didn't romance Alistair!  I can't feel bad for the guys, though, 3 outta 4 ain't bad.

After playing Mistress Chancellor Lucilla Amell, I didn't want to romance Alistair with anyone else because Their Love Was So Special. This is how I discovered that being spiky and a bit of a smartass made the Alistair romance even more awesome. Brand wasn't supposed to really end up with Alistair so I approached him differently and then she went and became my favorite PC/Alistair pairing.



Of course, then I mucked things up a bunch with her and now all three of us are confused about how we're supposed to feel about the whole situation.

Kara is my canon playthrough, my first and "the way things should be".  Amelia was my answer to the part of me that wanted the happy ending, so she's happily married off to Al, doing their best to have royal babies.

I recall that your Tabris romanced Zevran.  As did mine, and Sula Surana became Sula Arainai as well.  She was one of my favorites to be sure.  The backflips I had to do for her character- mostly to get her gameplay as a blood mage/ arcane warrior the way I wanted it- make her seem special.

But I think if I have to pick a canon, it's going to be Esra Surana.  Hence why she's made a re-appearance as avatar.  It feels like I'm saying goodbye to my elves, so she gets the spot of honor for now.

I have no qualms building an Alistair harem.  Each pt seems different.

My HNF romanced Alistair, my HNM is in the process of romancing Morrigan, my DCF romanced Leliana after Alistair dumped her on the grounds of sparing his evil father-in-law, my DNM romanced Leliana and Morrigan but ended up alone since he had a child to deal with in Orzammar and didn't think Leliana would fit in there, and my CE and elf mage romanced Zevran. My human mage was too shallow and self-centered to notice anyone that might have been interested and the LI didn't like her anyway, my DNF was busy being heartbroken, and my DE is really unstable.

Are we sharing who we romanced? I'll save time and just say I romanced Alistair on all characters except one of my Amells, where I downloaded a mod so my chick could romance Morrigan. My one male run (Bastien) was a cheat run, where I romanced Zev, Leliana and Morrigan at the same time.

3) Keres Mahariel - DW Rogue - Assassin/Duelist. (Romanced Zevran)
4) Sophia Amell - Blood Mage/Spirit Healer (Romanced no one)
5) Helena Cousland - S&S Warrior -  Champion/Templar/Guardian (Romanced Alistair)
6) Miria Surana - Mage - Current playthrough and I'm still at Ostagar but I'm thinking she's going to be an Arcane Warior/Keeper/Battlemage. Not sure who, if anyone, she's going to romance.

Rogues are my favorite, too. I love mages, but usually I just go back and play Amara some more when I'm feeling magey. I have a lot of characters that I deleted, or got to the last treaty and stalled (and many more just sitting in Ostagar after playing the Origins, of course!)

My favorites, and the ones that feel "real" to me are:

Amara Amell - Mage - Arcane Warrior/Spirit Warrior/BattleMage (left to be Grey Wardens with Alistair)

Ryli Brosca - DW Warrior - Champion/Berserker (Zev)

Adrian Cousland - Male S&S Warrior
Kiara Mahariel - Archery Rogue

I also have another mage in conception, as well as a redheaded Cousland girl Warrior. So far she's only been used to record first night videos, though

None of my dwarves got a finished game. I finished an Alistair romance on my DC but my DN barely got out of the Origin when I quit playing DA.

Lol, I have never actually romanced any of the other LIs... every. single. one of my characters is an Alistair girl. I tried going for Zevran once on a deleted character but no dice.



Well, I do use a cheat to get them to bed for screencap purposes, but that's the extent of it. Well, I am determined to have my f!Brosca go for Leliana, but who knows when I'll play her.

Hey, I gave some dwarf love. Unfortunately due to my stupidity and mods I broke my Aeducan's game. She's gonna have to be restarted. I have a Brosca sitting in the wings though

I have my Brosca on the list! My Aeducan is still in Lothering, so she didn't make the list. Some day she will get out. Gilsa & Lady Jess would add the balance to the dwarf side

I just can't play dwarf's, I don't know why but I can't get into them, even if their origin stories are a lot better than some of the other's. I've tried to play a dwarven character but I got as far as the first or second treaty and then I kind of lost interest. I'm thinking it might be the lack of dwarf love on the mod side that makes it difficult for me to get into them so I'm hoping that TMP's new scene's added in CRS might make it a bit more bearable and allow me to finish one play through.

Because I totally am putting off finishing my project & like stastics,  I tallied up the numbers of characters people have mentioned so far. I might've missed one, but it should be close to what was listed, starting with Surely's post earlier today. (If someone specifically mentioned they did the character twice, I included it twice.)
