The Ron-spawn Maharel's sword is more ridiculous than FF swords.

Elf mage is where it's at!  I don't even want to play a rogue anymore.  Blowing stuff up is too much fun.

I have three mages. Two male Amnells and a female Surana.

I find mages really boring if they're not arcane warriors. I just have to run in and hit things, even if I have the ability to blow them up.



I think tmp's rescaled swords makes the greatsword really big, especially since this is a qunari model. It looks pretty funny though xD

I love her with the big quanari sword  It especially makes for great screencaps!

I <3 mages, I just tend to play rogues more. Warriors are where I fail. I've only managed to get one finished, and that was a DW.

I play classes depending on the Origin. Couslands and Aeducans are always warriors (charming Knight characters with a streak of pragmatism). Broscas, Mahariels, and Tabrises are always rogues (Brosca and Tabris are duel wielding, though Brosca relies more on strength, Tabris on dex; Mahariel is bows). Amells and Suranas are mages...duh:P

I hate playing a mage. Whenever I try to run from the immediate area of the fight the enemies always chase me and so I can't get a safe distance away like Wynne and Morrigan do to start casting spells.

You need to have someone burly to Taunt for you.

I thought nothing could tear me away from rogues, but I am smitten with the warriors now. I specced Ron Mahariel as a rogue because I wanted him to be a Ranger and I'm not having much fun with it at all. I miss Frightening stuff and knocking everybody back with War Cry. 

I love mages, but I always end up as Arcane Warrior for the reason Sarah mentioned- it's hard to get away from the action. At least with AW you can wear armor and take more damage. After that, there's nothing better than planting ones magical butt in the middle of a mob and taking in the exploding and shattered bodies.

Yes, go warriors!  I have very few rogue characters - I mostly like to get in there and kill things alongside Alistair!

And as much as I love Ron (and we all know I love Ron lots) he would be even awesomer as warrior Ron like Kara and Ronkarisha!

War Cry is pretty awesome. That was great fun on my DW warrior.

I really loved the battlemage spec in Awakening, and some of the new mage powers there. Especially when combined with the arcane warrior shielding. Then you get to wade in to the midst, slinging spells and mowing everyone down around you! Fun! But, a little OP.

AWs take more aggro, however, due to armor rating.  So unless you spend a lot of mana on Shimmering Shield, you still have to do CC and it seems like six and half dozen to me.  I do prefer to wear armor, but just because the robes are ugly.

As I suppose you all know by now, I'd rather poke my eyes out than play warrior class.

Yes, go warriors!  I have very few rogue characters - I mostly like to get in there and kill things alongside Alistair!

I'm a bad, bad person. I like to stab my enemies in the back with poison, and then whack their heads off with my dual daggers.

I don't like being strategic when it comes to games where you could easily run in and kill them with no consequences. My rogues are either dual wielding in-your-face or archers that hide behind Alistair:lol:

I don't really understand how anyone can have any mage issues what-so-ever they're hands down the most op class in the game AW or not. Grease, Earthquake, Fireball, Chain Lightning, Fireball then rinse and repeat. I never found a need/want to ever use Inferno, Blizzard or Tempest.
