My rogues do tons of damage.  High hit rate + speed, with backstab for added oomph.  I can't imagine a warrior would do more.

It all comes down to preferred playstyle, though.

Oh, I bet the fact that I was on PS3 without the dex fix made some difference.  I might change my mind soon on the PC and with the upcoming console patch.  I have a few rogues planned, don't get me wrong.  But my style is very geared towards warriors. ^-^

So, I got a working version of the armor I've been making, and took it out for a test. The idea was to make something of similar coloration to the Kal Hirol Armor, but slightly more understated--if that word can be used to describe gold and white armor. I have another tint that's similar, but reversed that I'll do something with, but it isn't here now. It was a real struggle to minimize some artifacts that occured when lightening the black parts of the armor. I haven't completely suceeded, but it's usable...

It's shown here next to the Kal Hirol, which I recreated a few weeks ago with more reasonable stats for Origins. Hmmm... Seeing these two together makes me wonder if I should make the gold more gold.

Why does Alistair have a Cousland shield? Well, because I made the armor (and shield) in case I want to use it so illustrate the story I'm writing, and in the story, Fergus gives the armor to Alistair.

Thanks! Yes, Alistair will be getting that back. I'll make something for my PC, special, so she doesn't get mad. I think I will make the gold just a tad more gold--not a lot, a smidge. The boots are a little too dark now, too, I see....

Going lighter is always a pain in the ass.  It looks good.
