That made me giggle.

I still love you Alistair! ( still stubbornly refusing to let the Alistair love die.)
Edit: Don't make me kill Jory again, I'll do it! and I'll post the evidence.

Ahem. Anyway, I'm worried about the next game and the love interests. I don't think they'll make a clone. That would be really stupid if you ask me. I just hope they can make someone just as good, and I hope we get more than one choice of the boys.
Hell, they should just make an Alistair simdate. Would anyone buy that? Cause I totally would...

Until the next hot fella comes along. It's okay. We'll have to move on one day. We cannot be blamed for it.

Anders was an Alistair clone, so it's possible they'll make another similar character.

Honestly when I started Dragon Age I had no idea there was romance in it. I didn;t even think Alistair was anything special when my first PC met him. Was just 'la la la, oh look there's the guy I have to meet, oh he's being ...funny?'
I think the rose was the point at which I went... 'oh.... wait a minute...' and
Edit: I realise I failed entirely to make any kind of point there.
The point I was trying to make was that, I've never really been one to get all gooey about film stars or characters or any of that kind of thing. Alistair wll have a special place as the character that broke me.
I also refuse to be drawn into a fangirl crush on any othr fictional characters and I'm as stubborn about that as I am about refusing to let the Alistair love die

Same here
Now it's like, cooking or doing something, and thinking "Alistair would like this"
um..Have I revealed too much?
Edit: And, agree with your edit as well :!!!!

Yes, you win. Also I don't think I've ever had smoke gouda, I love gouda and smoked cheese but I don't think I've ever tried the combination. Must investigate
Edit: smoked cheese I don't 'smoke cheese' that would be odd.

My boyfriend was rubbish in comparison to a fictional Alistair. So I broke up with him, Do I get the prize? (and a straightjacket?)

Oh...please...DO NOT COMPARE BF's to Alistair. *sigh*...he simply doesn't exist in real life. perhaps if anything only a few ppl on the planet could maybe come close.
I do admit...I did get drunk at a party once and saw this guy who resembled him...and I um..found myself wanting..
and was at the beach and saw a guy from far away with a similar look...-couldn't stop staring, had to slap myself)..
but..I think I am over that now. Obviously, it's not just the looks. We can dream though. That's what "heroes" are all about anyway.
One thing I might add. Ladies who are already with BFs, seem to have the common experience of their mates getting jealous of him..and subconsciously beginning to develop similar traits. one never knows..

My husband asked me once, "When I come back from this deployment (He's in the Air Force) am I going to have to dye my hair blonde, and show up at the house wearing armor with roses in my hand'Sandtigress wrote...

At first I was like "No, it's not that bad" Then I started thinking. No less then an hour later I asked him "But I thought you weren't allowed to dye you hair....and where would you get a decent suit of armor"
I forget is response but I don't think it was a positive one.

Nah, it wasn't a decision based entirely on Alistair. I think the fact that I experienced more romance from a fictional character in half an hour than I had in four years just pushed me over the edge
I understand that the perfect ideal I have attatched to a fictional character does't exsist, honestly, I do!
That doesdn't mean I don't want any romance in real life though.
