As I said above, it is but one example, or rather something that highlights a tendency present in the game I find annoying- that the PC is considered the savior of the world.

You know how we have um...is it six, origins to choose from? and they all have their different stories as to how we end up at Ostagar. Well.... maybe there could be a similar origins for Alistair regardless of the previously made choices, where we discovered why he wasn't king/drunk/ there in awakenings then after the inital origin he could join us on our adventures which would be the main campaign.

Well, in my mind Alistair is tied with my wardens, I wouldn't want him with Hawke, no matter how wonderful she might turn out to be.

I have been stressing over this for weeks.  I always name my canon VG characters Melania.  But since Hawke is going to run paralll to my warden, I'm afraid if I name her Melania then Thedas will implode or something.  I hate picking names!!!

For some reason, Lizbet pops into my head, or some variation on it like Lizbette.  I guess we'll see when we get there though.

......Although I do like the name Jetta, and Jetta Hawke sounds kind of kick-a-s-s, in an overtly kick-a-s-s way

Once we will know more about Hawke's role, maybe it will get easier to find a name fitting with that. 

I've been looking at angel/demon names, because of the whole "the most important person in Thedas"...

All I know about my naming plans is that under no circumstances will I stick to the default name no matter how nice it may be. Of course, since the HNF is named Elissa of all things I don't have faith that I'll like it anyway.
