And people, I highly recommend the Morrigan Restoration Patch by terra ex. This cutscene is just one of the many things that was restored with Morrigan, and I was just her friend, I can't wait to try her romance.

It can be made compatible with CRS, let me know if you have issues and I can get you my version.

I like making sure Alistair gets the High Dragon kill.

Also, he's way too casual about this:

Wow. . .that was certainly more impressive than my High Dragon kill. I could barely see what was happening in mine because the camera was too close up. Just a very tight shot of about chest-level Dragon with head, neck, blood and Warden whipping in and out of the frame. This is pretty sweet right here. Maybe I should let Alistair have the Dragon next time. . .

Looks like he's using my Warden's sword too! Is that the Starfang?

When I killed the Archdemon, it had me in its mouth then I shot it in the eye with my bow. But anyways..

I feel bad letting Alistair get taken by the Blight. I woulda died and taken the killing blow myself if not for the fact that I had a copy of DA:A beside me. :(

Sorry, I had a bad internet connection all day it was ANNOYING!!

And, what Surely said isn't that far off from the truth. Since I started my Aurora Cousland playthrough, I've been thinking about why and how she would fall in love with Alistair. And I've been trying to get myself in her shoes so to speak, as manly a way as possible of course Posted Image

They are indeed glorious okiness.

Though not sure it would be practical for Aurora while she is saving the world. Maybe when she becomes Teyrna.
She is a hot green eyed brunette, so she is made for high heels in my books Posted Image

It would have to be Fiona, I think.  Unless he had no name all the while she was bringing him back to Ferelden.  Which would be Posted Image and would seem OOC.  So even though Gaider was sneaky in The Calling and didn't even make Maric think to ask what the baby's name was, I'm gonna say that Fiona had already given him one.

lol That's a very KoP thing to sayPosted Image

To answer SF, I do not think it's Eamon. It's probably the mom and / or Maric.

At first I was going to say I imagine Fiona asking Maric what his name should be, but Addai's right...unless he was only very recently born, which doesn't seem to be the case - I can't imagine it takes less than four months or so to travel from Ferelden to Weisshaupt and then I'm sure they had at least a month or so of questioning - baby Alistair would have been nameless for quite awhile which does seem strange.

Are we 100% certain that Fiona is the mother? Not saying it's impossible. In fact him having an elven mother would certainly explain a lot.

That was a joke btw :P

That's what I was thinking, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going sideways or something.

OTOH...  I was just reading yesterday that there was a custom in both ancient Rome and medieval Europe that a baby was not considered part of the family, possibly not even human, until the father accepted it.  In Scandinavia a baby could be legally exposed if the father did not take the baby in his arms, bless it and give it a name.  In Rome a baby would be placed on the ground and until the father picked it up, it was not considered legitimate.
So...  since I am assuming this is Undertow speculation Posted Image...  You might incorporate that idea to say that Fiona waited to name the baby until Maric saw him and allowed him to pick a name.  If it suits your dramatic taste.

I like to think that Maric did not just send Alistair off without any piece of himself, hence why I speculated in my own story that the amulet was actually the Rebel Queen's and given to Alistair by the old man with a cover story.  It's my sentimental view on Maric, but it's not as if he was completely uncaring about the baby, so I think it fits.

We are certain.  :P  But it hasn't been officially confirmed or denied by the devs.  Yet.

Though there is that one line in DSC about how Alistair "believed" that Goldanna was his sister...

That's interesting to know about that naming custom and it would be one way to take it. One of my thoughts, too, was that naming the baby might make it that much harder for Fiona to give up. But I think, at that point, it's all pretty impossible. Hmmm.

The notion of the amulet belonging to Moira is a good one, especially since I can see that giving Eamon even more of a reason to preserve it, if it belonged to a Theirin.
