I actually love it when you choose the dialogue option of "I'm not sure yet, it's too soon to tell" because then he kisses you ANYWAY and it's like YES YES I'M SURE I'M SURE!!!

His reaction afterwards is cute, he keeps his eyes closed and backs away slowly.

Huh? When?Posted Image

This happens for about 6 seconds, after he goes to kiss the FemWarden.

I guess I have always said "I think I already do"

Yea I always took that one.  I will have to take the "Im not sure yet" answer next time.

And if you would like to know how to grill a perfect rare steak, let me know.  I have it down to a science.

Ooh, now that I will take you up on!  How good are you with ribeyes? :D

For all steaks, it comes down to the same thing.  I happen to use a propane grill because it is easier, but this would be true of a charcoal grill as well.

Step 1) Get the grill as hot as it can possibly can.  You want heat, heat, heat.
Step 2) Prep grill grates to prevent any sticking.  You can use oil, if you want, but I discovered Weber Non-Stick Grill Spray last summer and it is fabulous.
Step 3) Put steak on the grill and DO NOT TOUCH IT!!!  I cannot emphasize this point enough.  The only time you want to touch it is to turn it.
Step 4) Grill the steak for 1 minute per each 1/4" of thickness per side.  So for a 1.5" filet, you would do 6 minutes a side.  If you want pretty grill marks, about halfway through the cooking for each side, turn it 45 degrees.
Step 5) When the steaks are done, let them rest for 5 minutes.  This is the perfect time to add a little butter to the top.
Step 6) Eat!

Is that the "So I fooled you did I?" kiss?

I think so.  He said something like that.  It was a huge "WTF" moment for me!

Do we have a budding fanboy in the making?  *nutures it carefully*

...Wat? NO!!!

I was just giving Alistair props since maybe I've been a little hard on him before...

Now I'm going to go eat a raw steak and pick a fight with a stranger.

*smiles and nods*  Methinks he doth protest too much.  ;)

Slice a piece off the cow as it runs through the fire? My hubby eats it almost as rare as that Posted Image

De-horn it, wipe it s butt, and put it on a plate!  That's my motto...i like 'em rare as rare can be

I think that is rapidly becoming the case.  It's this thread's meme, if nothing else.

I, of course, heartily approve. There could be ramifications, however.

Alistair: Am I going to regret all this running around the Denerim Marketplace in nothing but a helmet?
PC: In nothing but a sexy helmet. Besides, you're well-armed. What's the worse that could happen?
Alistair:
For starters, I could get a reputation.
PC:
As what? The Streak King of Ferelden? *giggles*
Alistair: Ha, ha. Just so you know, I'm taking this off when we go to bed tonight.
PC:
That's OK, I'll...
Alistair:
And you can't wear it either.
PC: :(

Woohoo!  I would make an awesome wife.  *gets on that*

Edit:  Also, for a good thick steak, get some thick cut bacon and wrap the outside, using a toothpick on each side to hold it place.  If you do that, I would recommend skipping the butter.  And if you haven't yet, find yourself a good local butcher or meat market.  They will cut steaks to to order and the price is usually very reasonable.  $9-$10/lb.  So everyone gets filet mignon for basically $5 a steak.  And if you follow the above directions, it will be better than anything you've had in a restaurant.  I don't even get steak at restaurants anymore b/c I've ruined myself on my home-grilled ones.

I've been shunned from life for my steak preferences, so I'll refrain from commenting on such things :x Not that I cook much anyway, I'm more likely to burn down the building than make something edible.

Under the Epilogue folder, I believe.

Tell me what you come up with so I can say the same. My boss is starting to think I've gone a bit soft in the head.

This is why I make saves before all those moments!  It lets me go back and test and play around once I've chosen what I think each character would say.
