Hey guys, questionooo. About your characters approaches on Alistair, did you just jump right in or pace it? I pace it everytime I play, I usually don't sleep with Alistair until Eamon's awake and I'm going on the final recruitment. What about you guys, do you ever take your roleplaying too seriously like me xD

First time I rushed into it. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything, so I swear we were bonking staright out of Lothering. But after that, I pace it., and let him come to me. It gives me something to look foward to!

it depends on the character i'm playing as to how fast i move in on alistair with my ce it takes longer after all she's been through trusting humans is hard where as my hnf she falls for him right away but doesnt sleep with him til he approaches her

My PCs tend to sleep with him before Eamon wakes up, so I don't know he's possibly going to be king. In theory at least. I think knowing he was going to be king would make most of my characters refuse to sleep with him until that whole mess was sorted out. which would mean I wouldn't get tent scenes.
I do tend to leave waking Eamon up until I've done everything else though.
I try to pace it but I get carried away and before I know it I'm outside Goldanna's house shoving him through the door.

Well since I refuse to ever approach Alistair, it makes sense to me that Alistair would be like OHSHI- I've done nothing in my life I care about or that I wanted for me. That mind set. Either mindset, though, is fine with me. We'll see as I replay my favorite warden when I get Dragon Age again. But seriously, it's an interesting topic, development and characterization are one of the best parts of the warden so it's nice to think on it sometimes.

It really depends on my characters as well, I never approach him first (unless I'm just playing with the CRS mod) but human nobles might find an excuse to wander in front of Goldanna's house a lot faster than City or Dalish elves, or mages even. The whole being king thing would freak them out I think. I've never managed to play a dwarf properly, and I wanted to see the CRS scenes so she just got rushed through until the earliest possible point at which Alistair would ask her to spend the night.

It depends on who i'm RPing. My female elfs are often distrustful of humans and wont sleep with Alistair untill after the third treaty. My female human nobel was a bi tomboy, who slept with Alistair after going to Redcliffe first. She was a little loose, but far more open about her sexuality and feelings.
