I agree with Sarah. There's only one character I really feel anything for. I like my others fine, but I don't care much about them much. I have spares, so to speak, of the story played differently. Since she's modded, I'm replaying my canon to have an extra save where she's a warrior (even though for non-existent story purposes and her original run she's a mage/AW).
To me, they're like my cats. I love them equally but for different reasons. Anytime I start to think... she's the one! Then I'm like
... but... but... what about her. And then I can't decide.
I do want to remake my first Cousland girl and play her again, just because I made so many mistakes in her playthrough.
Oh, well, I like my characters. But if I only had to choose one and delete the others, for example, I definitely know which one I'd save.
Though I wanted to make a Cousland I actually like/care about but I haven't been able to play lately, much less run through the HN origin and the game again.I need a break, maybe in a couple of months.
I totally understand you, there. Sometimes it's more fun just to create a character, and then when you get them in the game, it's like... meh. I haven't really played since my DC, and she's still at the gates, waiting for me to finish up the battle. I think it's been over a month. I've only played for screenies & lulz since then. I need a knew infusion!

I know I got Pimp-stair from Merilsell, but not sure if she made it. Didn't yuki make DuranDuranistair (aka Bowiestair)?
I think you're right about Bowie-stair. I'll put Marisell down for now, if I am wrong, someone can correct me.

Every non-DN game I play, I get sad when I get to Orzammar because all of the origins still exist and you do see that and since I have one of each of the origins (well, two of one but the guy only exists for guy-only plot bunnies) then I just assume that they're the ones getting themselves killed. If most of my would-be Wardens get themselves killed, fine, but my DN...sabreene wrote...

So when you're playing is there any point in time you lament one of your not-played Warden's fate? I'm not sure if there's any big DE encounter moment since you run into a different clan and never hear about her but what about when you hear that Howe is the Teyrn of Highever? When you actually find your DC's corpse in Jarvia's cell? When people tell you all about how Bhelen's sibling was exiled for killing Trian and probably dead? When you meet Jowan and he explains how he got there (even if he forgot all about the mage and wants to talk about Lily)? When Soris in the dungeon explains how he and your CE tried to rescue the women from Vaughan?sabreene wrote...

The only time I had a little bit of a qualm was finding the DC's corpse, because it's finding a corpse... but it looks like a guys corpse, so even then, it wasn't really a lament. And it does annoy me a little that Bhelen's sibling is referred to as another brother, but that's not really a lament either.
In whatever playthrough is happening, my other characters don't exist. So I don't lament what happened to them, because it didn't happen. I do sometimes think of them fondly, and remember how such and such played out with them when I run into characters/situations that have more meaning for one or another (going back into the Alienage, for example).
Also, sometimes it's hard not to always have the same feelings toward Howe, Vaughn & Jowan. I have to make myself remember this character doesn't know any of thatIt's especially hard with Vaughn. I don't think he's ever survived.

I need some help, folks.
I have created an albumk collecting all the Alistair mutations created on this thread. Question is, I can't remember who created what, and I wish to give credit in the picture descriptions.
Can someone tell me who created:
Alicorn
Dragistair
Pimpistair
Bowiestair
Ali-taur
Already know who created Moobistair.
Also, if anyone wants to donate mutations that I have not collected yet, please feel free.
The album is here:

This is a wonderful idea!!
I don't know where Cme got this, or who's it is, but I love the Angelstair pic

Did someone once make a Cowboy Alistair? If someone ever makes Regulator Alistair, I would... I would... I dunno what I would do, but it would be something drastic.
Soo, random question.... On YouTube, it is apparent from comments that people familiar with Dragon Age have never seen the Tamlen shriek encounter. I don't know what this means. They've never played a Dalish PC?? They didn't finish the game if they did? I think my favorite thus far is "TOO FAR, ARCHDEMON. F*CK." Concise and spot on.

I haven't played the Dalish far enough to see the shriek yet, either. Someday, someday.
I do remember Pirate Alistair, also! I was just going to request him! I can't find what page he's on in the thread. Damn the stupid search on this forum.

Some people can't get the scenario to happen, and if they only play the game once or twice they may have never seen it.

I'd fall into that category. I played 1 dalish to ostagar for the achievement and that was it. Boring origin is boring, etc.Addai67 wrote...

You can also just type the page number into the top of your browser, the last numbers of the http above are for the page number. You probably already knew that, but for anyone who didn't!
Makes it easier if you want to go directly to page 1000 or 2000 or 737 or something
