I personally think that when the story ends with a baby its kinda of olive branch of pushing the impossible, most of the pregnant fics I have read are pretty interesting and good.
Can we just believe in the holy makers hand?

My canon Warden was thrilled to find out she couldn't have babies and even more thrilled when she found out her brother had went ahead and had an heir before he died. A baby nephew you now are the guardian of is like having a child but without needing to spend nine months pregnant, imo.TotoroTori wrote...

yea but it becomes almost every Princess CousCous fic has her get pregnant cause VOILA!
Well drinking funny random items at the old Wardens Keep always proved to be um...not tested smartbad timing to say that my cannon Cousland warden (who does not beome queen!) ends up somehow having two twins Aeden and Eldric as well as an adopted elven daughter Amaythane who she teaches how to fight..

It's too bad, because since they track gameplay feedback it probably means Dalish stuff will drop off the face of the earth if so few people played one through.Axekix wrote...
Don't get me wrong, the idea of a Dalish character is interesting... but the way it's done in game is just really bland imo. I think I'd have liked it more if it actually tied in to the rest of the game like the other origins do.
I mean, I can't talk because I never finished a dwarf run, and now I wish I had just to put in my .02 at EA about the fact that I don't want to have to be forced to play humans on every future DA game.
Speaking of the dorfs... er, the dwarf thread got locked for non-topicness. Man, they never read this thread, do they?

I read one once where Anora managed to get pregnant from Alistair on the first try (which was good because he refused to sleep with her more than that since he was angsting for his Cousland) and the pregnancy seemed normal but when the time came to deliver they lost the baby and something was wrong with it anyway as the taint was killing Anora and so Alistair insisted she become a Warden to save her.TotoroTori wrote...

I wonder what ever happened to it...I stopped reading because Cousland/Alistair/Anora drama doesn't really interest me, especially as she could very well end up Queen in those situations.

I think it must have gotten reported for a spate of posts that might have struck some patriotic USians the wrong way (not me, but I've read enough comment sections on the internet to know what sets people off). As long as we don't get reported, they don't care what we do (within reason).

I agree about dwarves, my last Sereda I managed to finish the first treaty (orzammar) and she got blown up along with my other games when I had to reinstall. *sigh* I don't think I will ever finish a DN run

That may be a big part of why Hawke is human only. I know 3 of my 4 completed games were humans. I personally found it kind of hard to get into "alts" once I did my "main" run through... mainly because the game is so freakin long. I'd lose interest 1/2 way through. It really takes commitment to go from start to finish in DAOAddai67 wrote...

almost sounds like my aunt and uncle when my sister and me came to live with them
With fanfics I try to read what people highly recommend in Dragon Age, to be honest I haven't really been interested in fanfics since Tekken (and all my favorite stories are gone!) with DA it feels like a nice step in fanfiction since there are so many cannon's. I now wish I could find all my old favorite video game fanfictions.
I really don't read any Alistair/Cousland/Anora drama
The only serious drama Alistair/Cousland fanfic I'm reading/read is damage its pretty interesting. I rememv=ber reading a Dragon Age Lost parady which was interesting as well.
also want to point out that a few years after Hazel has her two sons she vanishes in rumors of Morrigan and a strange marked child

That's okay, between you, me and yuki we'll help make up the numbers. I have....four or five Dalish playthroughs started? And I was going to do a male, and I had plans for a rogue girl....lol Maybe I'll just make up all the Dalish numbers myself.

It wasn't that bad, though, just annoying. I'd say the similar discussion on the fourth was worse and we didn't so much as get a warning for that.SurelyForth wrote...

I have a pregnant Warden fanfic, but it's definitely not Alistair's and it wasn't a "ZOMG, now we have a baby and everything is perfect" sort of situation, either.
I don't mind Alistair/SheWarden offspring because enough gets hand waved in this universe that that whole thing seems set up to be way too incredibly bittersweet and unforgiving in a way.

You can look in your options and if "Upload gameplay feedback" is checked, then EA is watching. They know how many times you've tented Alistair.sylvanaerie wrote...
I think the Devs are too afraid to venture into this thread. I didn't know they tracked what kind of PCs you play...is this some kind of "Big Brother" thing? Considering the patch fixed it so I can't log in and load my game anyway now I doubt they will get any numbers from me anyway.

Surely, if people really reported my post saying Georgia sucks, they are idiots. That's like me saying that Caucasians are ugly and stupid (I'm Caucasian). And getting in trouble for it -rollseyes-. Well...yeah. I agree completely. But any idiot can report anything they want, and if the devs see something going on that probably shouldn't (and it was off-topic), then they can close it.
