I have a pregnant Warden fanfic, but it's definitely not Alistair's and it wasn't a "ZOMG, now we have a baby and everything is perfect" sort of situation, either. 

I don't mind Alistair/SheWarden offspring because enough gets hand waved in this universe that that whole thing seems set up to be way too incredibly bittersweet and unforgiving in a way.

Well, it's a personal thing. If someone wants to write their Warden finding some magic doodad or ritual or whatever to let them have kids with Alistair, that's their prerogative. I don't like it at all, and I don't read fic so it's not really a problem I encounter often xD

I was wanting to create a character in it, though.  I had plans to make an Amell who is a little older and has some small facial scars, which is not something the character creator could handle well.  At this point I don't think I'm interested enough for something that ambitious.

The VO notes are easy they're stored in the Conversation header, the trees are named for each NPC so Alistair's would be Alistair_Main.dlg then you just open it up and you can click through all the path most have the notes written at the bottom.

As for making a morph I can definately help you out with that, I've made tons of them and can easily teach you the basics of morph making in the toolset. The toolset's morph creator is much more powerful than the in game character creator, it allows for all the options from face blends to unique shapes. An example would be this Elf I made in the toolset, she uses several toolset only sliders which allow much more control over a character.

I wouldn't have a problem giving you a hand and I'm sure you'd find plenty of advice in the Character Creator forums.

I can't work the toolset, I'll load it up and be like, " I will do something with this thing." Then I get scared and exit out. I'm used to the Oblivion one, which (slightly) easier.

Pretty!  I can tell when people have toolset characters because they look unique and more refined.  If I do decide to make another character, I'll know who to call.  Very nice of you.

I couldn't be on whatever diet Gaider is on, I love cheese. I imagine my characters bonding with Alistair over their love for cheese (and falling in love over this bonding).

It can be overwhelming at first but it's not as impossible as the first impression gives off, making a good morph that you are happy with takes much more time than figuring out how to simply create a morph and export it to the game. I learned to do that in a day but making characters that measure up to my standards takes much more time, some designs of mine have been the product of 20 versions and hundreds of smaller edits.

When you make the switch from character creator to toolset you never look back and the quality of your work skyrockets. Like I said ask and I'll help you out, I love seeing other people's work anyway everyone has a style to making their characters it's always very interesting.

You can look in your options and if "Upload gameplay feedback" is checked, then EA is watching.  They know how many times you've tented Alistair.    I think that setting is default, so probably everyone who logs in was sending information.

I posted the fluffy pregnancy pick and then ran away for all the discussion. Sorry. Yes, my Couscous has a baby - but she has a pretty rough ride of it first and it takes a LOT of magical intervention for her to keep this one.



She's in combat equipment because at this point in the story she and Alistair are on their way to Tevinter running from assassins who want to kill the child. It's mage robes because she refuses to let Wade make her maternity leather armour (she's a rogue).



And I totally defend my right to write fluffy Cousland pregnancy fluff! It's my fluffy fluff and I'll fluff if I want to! Hooray!

Yeah, I know, I was just mad that they shut down the entire thread because some jackass was offended by me insulting our home state. I wasn't insulting him, but the homophobes and racists that live here. The mod shouldn't have shut down the thread, I would have prefered getting temporarily banned or getting a PM telling me to knock it off. I'm not unresonable, I would have stopped had I known it really bothered people, but I literally got one post that sorta-kinda hinted at them being annoyed. Heck, if anything, people were making jokes about me moving to Canada.

I just don't want to ruin people's fun because of my inability to handle ignorant people:( Luckily soignee was on the ball with creating the new thread.

But hey! This thread is about Alistair, not Kry's sadness. Alistair makes everything better.
