Heh, exactly. Hence my trepedation when considering whether or not to harden Alistair. From the sounds of it though it doesn't seem like a huge personality change. Alistair with a backbone might be fun. *Evil grin*

Oh Hells, this looks like it might be a bit of a juggling act to get CRS installed considering how I had everything else set up to be semi compatible. This could be fun.

It definitely is not a big personality change like what you described for Kaidan.  I can go either way if I'm not making him king, but if I am, I feel guilty if I don't harden him. He just takes to kingship so much better. Overall though, there's not a big difference. Most his lines are still the same

I don't think I had to modifiy anything with DT/Zev/Morrigan with CRS. I don't remember about Gatekisses. Most are for the alistair files & love scenes, so they play pretty well with other dialog edits (as long as those edits aren't messing with the Alistair files). You won't need Better Sex Scenes at all, so you can get rid of that. If you have improved atmosphere, there might be one file you need to get rid of from the improved atmosphere file, but I think that might be in the notes somewhere.

I had to do some crazy work with my mods, but they have all played well together so far. Knock on wood. Hopefully they'll behave for you too!

Mostly I'm just interested in the difference between the two I asked about. I'm wondering if I can keep BSC and still have CRS run properly without Tmp's files. The first night scenes looks to be seperate files from Tmp's, but  could be wrong here a bjork it up.

CRS also includes the BSC scenes along with tmp's.  Which are incredibly sexy, BTW.  The hand on the thigh?  I would take that over awkward porno animations any day.  Ahem.

You don't need to keep BSC, because the CRS mod by Cmessaz includes all the BSC scenes. Among other things, the CRS mod gives you new dialog when you ask if you want to go to bed, and with that new dialog you can then choose which love scene you want to have. The "First Night" scene that Dahlia created only runs the very first time you sleep with Alistair. After that, you have the choice to pick any of the three BSC scenes (mild, medium, zesty), the two scenes by TMP, the original vanilla scene, Morrigan's scene or Zevran's scene. I think that covers it

You also get a an option to hug Alistair any time you want to! Which is nice

You will want to delete the BSC scenes you installed before you had CRS, because CRS has them renamed to run with the new dialog files. So basically, get rid of whatever love scenes you had before, and then put in CRS

CRS-Alistair only affects Alistair's romance as far as I know.

I did have to do a little tweak to make it compatible with ZDF/ Gatekisses.  ZDF includes an alistair_main file and you should remove that so that CRS' alstair_main will fire.  Someone correct me if I'm misremembering.

Besides, he has to learn some new moves from somewhere -- might as well take advantage of the show Morrigan & Zevran put on (respectively, of course) since they're doing so right out in the open. Better that then learning from some of the options at the Pearl. He'd be in trouble if he ever brought home a nug or any of those crazy devices!

Edit: Let me actually rephrase my question. Does CMR include all of the BSC files, or just the ones responsible for Alistair. Looking at it and Tmp's files, they seem to only be for Alistairs triggers, meaning I would need to get BSC for other companions.

Ahh, yes. Do keep the other companion ones. Just get rid of the Alistair specific files, those are the only BSC that CRS includes. You don't need the fix for the kiss either, since CRS has that.

Oh, yes you only get Alistair's BSC scenes in CRS.
