Because it's Alistair?

'Nuff said.  But it's past my witching hour, so one last screenshot and then I must head to the Fade.

Another "run off to Orlais" one with an adorable expression.

Awwww. Now I want to go have that dialog. Maybe I'll actually play tomorrow!

I was playing until I couldn't remember a certain combination of dialogue to get an outcome. Came to the forums hoping for help, and ended up distracted by the shiny pictures. *Drools*

On Alistair stealing Morrigan's moves.... My PC's don't care if Alistair has been copying Morrigan, they just care that he's using his powers of observation for good.

I get distracted by pictures far too often. Sometimes I completely forget what I had been about to do. Alistair and kitties, they'll get me every time.

Haha extacly. I've actually closed down Firefox, than reopened it again and came back to this site since I had completely forgotten what I was originally after. Bad, bad me.

Just thinking about Alistair and kitties in the same pictures makes my brain melt.

Quick! Someone do a shop!

:D

Edit: I fail at tags.

lol. I'm sure this isn't the kind of shop you were talking about, but have your seen Mel's kitteh-stair?

If you haven't seen it, you should check out some of the shops Skadi is collecting. They're awesome :D

Oh my...

The only thing I can think of when I see the one with the pink dress is...

"But if the King asks me to put on a dress and dance the Remmigold, I'm drawing the line. Darkspawn or no."

"I don't know, I think I'd like to see that."

"For you, maybe... But it has to be a pretty dress."

Followed by Duncan's epic sigh, and without a doubt the greatest line in game. It should have been accompanied by a facepalm too.

Tsk Tsk Addai, I thought you were the nice respectable one and after I had drunkenly passed out as well!
In case anyone missed me saying thank you for the B/day wishes.( or didn't understand my drunken ramblings, which is entirely possible. I don't think I understood them and I wrote them.)  Thank you! I appreciate themPosted Image

Awww, poor sleepy Alistair.

So I was up laaaaaaaaaate last night reading the VO dialogue on the toolset; I had been really nice to my Alistair (becauseIwantedtonailhim) but some of the more mocking lines, I would kill to hear his reaction. Because I am convinced the voice acting would be just ace. MAN I wish there were a way to just play the audio or cutscenes. That would be epic.

Apparently there's a way to read the VO/script notes in addition to the dialogue; anyone wanna help me find them? :P

Click on the localization tab after clicking on a line of dialogue. It'll show the VO notes, if there are any for that particular line.

OH MY GOD it's actually possible to listen/watch any of Alistair's lines! In the toolset, all you have to do is right click > Preview Line and you can watch/listen. Oh this is going to be fun!

If you click on a line at the bottom it should say Dialogue followed by Plots and Scripting then Localization that's where it is. It's where the VO notes are stored which give insight into the intent behind the various lines.

I'm guessing you've found Alistair's dialogue under Followers. There should be a line of tabs in the box below the box containing the lines of dialogue, if that makes any sense. They have names like Editing and Localization. Maybe that particular box/toolbar/whatever it is isn't open? I can't get the toolset to open again, so I'm not sure what it's called. Sorry!

It will be at the bottom of the screen when you click on a characters dialogue line.

It's actually there just collapsed down over the log window, if you scroll along the bottom you should see a white expand up/down arrow use that to pull the tab open.

Edit: Not the bottom of the window just at the bottom where all the dialogue lines are but above the log window.
