Question.. I know alot of you guys have Alistair in modded armor. How do you avoid the freakish deformities that occur when you get too far away from him? I lived with it in camp but the first time it happend outsideI had to put him back in vanilla. Are there mods out there where this doesn't happen?
The only thing I've noticed is how freakishly good looking he is in Shadow Armor, Runic Armor and Pious.
Thanks! I'll try those and see what happens.

Although...I suspect I would need some kind of 3D modelling thingy if I wanted to change more than the colours of the armours etc ? Like If I wanted to cut bits out or add bits on? Or am I overcomplicating things? Meh, doesn't matter anyway, I'll never do it.
I also tried to make a signature using this Gimp thing every one was talking about and again, refused to read the instructions and just poked at it thinking, 'why won't you magically do what I want without me having to learn how to use you?'
grumble.
On topic, I like this pic and he has very little clothing on.

unless my brain is so against me that I linked shocked Daveth again.
Also , Alistair and dogs don't get along according to the man himself if you suggest he helps the injured Mabari in Ostagar.

hrmmm..., I'm currently poking about the toolset and generally avoiding doing anything worthwhile at all. I should really read the instructions for the toolset but I know if I start that I'll get distracted from all the other things I should be doing and I'll never get them done as I'll ambitiously start some new, 'i'm going to redesign all the armour' nonsense or something that I'm equally incapable of, start it, spend hours /days /weeks on it, then realise it's terrible and give up like I do with everything else.

Can't help with the toolset thing, but I can help with Gimp:wizard: I've only used it once, but it's a lot like photoshop, which I use a lot (that's what I used to make my crappy sigs:P)

I'm excited that we can use our Wardens. I'm kind of amazed that you can create a new Warden for it though, for a $5 DLC. Not a BAD thing at all, just a little surprising. And import from Origins OR Awakening!

I see no mention of companions.... ( I mean Alistair , of course.)
@ Kryyp,
@ Sandi, should I already have powerpoint? Is it free? What is it!!!
Yes I am a computer noob, I didn't even care about my computer for anything other than writing music until my ex got me into playing WoW, then I discovered PC gaming and it was the end of anything productive ever happening ever again.

Yeah even though it's marketed for the really hard combat which doesn't appeal, I'll get it, for a chance to play the Warden again. I also feel better about no DAA companions being in it since it doesn't solely jump off DAA.Sandtigress wrote...

Good to see the 'no armour for Alistair' policy is alive and well.
he also seems to have stuck a sword through his shoulder. Yet still looks unperturbed, what a man.

Sweeeeeet. . .I only wish Freya (my Duster Warden) was still Blight-quelling so she could get in on the action.
Great. Now I have even more reason to start my next DA:O playthrough. Thanks, BioWare. It's not like I have homework to do or anything.

Oops sorry. If you have Microsoft Office (and most people do) it should include Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access and (2007 and up) OneNote.
Word is a word processing program, I use it to type reports (and fanfic)
Excel is a spreadsheet program, number crunching and all that
Powerpoint is a presentation program, but you can also make decent figures with it. It's not as powerful as Photoshop or Gimp, but infinitely easier to use.
OneNote, since most people haven't heard of it, is an excellent note taking program. I use it to organize stuff not only for class and research but also my fic - stores things like in a physical notebook behind tabs, bullets really well, let's you move sections around, really just wonderful. And it's fully compatible with my tablet PC's inking cababilities!

You ought to be able to import her, just like you do for any other DLC, even if she's done with the game! You can do it with Shale, Return to Ostagar, and Warden's Keep anyways, don't see why this would be different!

@ sandi, Ah-ha! I've never investigated office past word, I should have that then. Although I suspect I'd do the same as I do with GIMP and just shout at it while shaking my fist at the computer screen.

Yeah, I know. I wasn't talking about a technical impossibility, more that her story's over so it would seem weird to be like "But wait! There's more!"
Although a mission like this could be what Freya does to take her mind off the loss of her man. . .
