If you can import your Awakening warden, I wonder if the game is a little different if you run an Orlesian Warden through it, or if it's kind of generic, in that respect.

You ought to be able to import her, just like you do for any other DLC, even if she's done with the game! You can do it with Shale, Return to Ostagar, and Warden's Keep anyways, don't see why this would be different!

Yeah, I know. I wasn't talking about a technical impossibility, more that her story's over so it would seem weird to be like "But wait! There's more!"

Although a mission like this could be what Freya does to take her mind off the loss of her man. . .

I think that's very plausible.  My WC ending will be with my Surana, who won't romance him until the very end (I hope) and she does the Awakening campaign trying to forget about him.  And then meets Anders...and a new romance is born!  Not right away, of course, so the lack of romances in Awakening will be perfectly fine.  She'd still be mourning Alistair, even if they never slept together.  I just can't see her even looking at another man so soon if the romance had gone that far.

At a complete guess, since it's a $5 DLC that can unlock things for DA:O,  I'm going to go with it being generic. Although I wonder if we'll even get a mention of the other companions,or even where, if at all it fits into the story 

 'Sorry Alistair, being queen is just not exciting enough for me, I'm going to go play with some golems, have fun running the country, Bye!'

Alistair is sad because he wants to come too...

I try to keep it on the down low bearing in mind they are possibly insulting to anyone who likes good writing, Morrigan, Loghain, Anora, Eamon, Dwarves, Lore, Taste and Decency.

taste? Decency?  what are those..?  And as far as Morrigan, Loghain, Anora and Eamon go... fling all you can at em... I know I am in my story.. which is still in tatters all over Ferelden.  I'll get it together eventually, hopefully before the next Age is named.
 Bring it on I say.. and so does Alistair.

I picture the conversation going a little something like this:

Mel: What are those thousands and thousands of lights?
Alistair: I think they're darkspawn, carrying torches.
Mel: Huh. And that big ugly loud thing up there?
Alistair: You mean the dragon? I'm pretty sure that's the archdemon.
Mel: Huh......

Mel:.........Anyone else hungry? I could use some lunch.
Alistair: I'm starving!
Wynne: I'd love a good stew.

It freaks me right out, but mainly because I'm thinking , "GET AWAY FROM THE EDGE YOU FOOLS!"
I'm not scared of heights so much as I am of dropping thousands of feet to death.
Had a safety barrier been in place I'd have been fine.

The whole scene irks me.  DO YOU NOT CARE THAT THE AD IS FLYING OVER YOUR HEAD YOU DAMN FOOLS!!!

Oeee yeah I was screaming cause I wanted them to hide for all the dark spawn and the AD...

I was soooo scared the AD would see them and hurt them Freaked me out...
