Oooh, can I have the pretty dress? There is a distinct lack of nice clothes in Ferelden.

Unfortunately this was my undoing as I wrote 70,000 words for my Dragon Age fanfiction and then my hard drive failed.

I am SO sorry.
/snifff, thank you. Also yeah, pushy people...euigh
I love Mel's artwork...can I get one of Odelia? lol

The Orlesians took their fashions with them when they were driven out.
( I can't really remember how the rebeliion ended btw but I'm gonna guess driven out is as good a way of putting it as any)

You would think that Marjolaine and Isolde could get their hands on some decent Orlesian dresses, but they both wear the worst dress in the game!

They're trying to blend in and their opinion of Ferelden fashion really is that low.Yankee23 wrote...

Goodnight!
Gah, my timezone is so stupid for socialising here, It's 6am! ( I'm only awake because I had a 'nap' earlier, by nap I mean 5 hour sleep)

I haven't looked at the toolset since my first forays. It's like crossing the Sahara desert. Like trekking into the deepest darkest jungles of Africa. I have to be in a completely masochistic, caution-to-the-wind mood and then maybe I'll open it up again.Zyanic wrote...

Ah, that's it, I'm going to start using this toolset in my free time.
Err, after I write more fanfiction of course...
I've managed to successfully avoid writing by... playing with the toolset, creating a new elf, getting a twitter acount, hanging about on the forums, attempting to have some sort of *gasp* social life ( I don't know what I was thinking), and generally staring blankly at word screaming 'WHY????? WHY DID I START THIS??' and being desperate to read SurelyForth's fic.

I'm running a new char through Ostagar and when Cailan tells me to go off to the tower I chose the option "If its not dangerous I can do it myself." He's very insistent on Alistair going as well.
Succession planning do we think?

Wow. The horror.... As soon as I read that, I dragged my story folder onto a zip drive. I'm at 80,000 words, and if I lost the whole thing, I think I'd explode. Thanks for the reminder of what can happen--and sorry it happened to you.

It makes sense to me too. If so I might have re-evaluate my estimate of Cailan's intelligence ;-)

That's my take, as well. It may just be a soft spot. Alistair doesn't mean much to him, by all accounts, but he's still family.errant_knight wrote...

It was quite an interesting discussion, particularly at the beginning. It kind of falls apart near the end due to some trolling.
