Question - I don't know if I'll have the stomach to do this, but can you make Alistair SOLO king and keep logain alive, or does he have to get stuck with the harpy?

Nope.  If Loghain is spared, the only way to keep Alistair alive and prevent him from becoming a drunken bum is to marry him to Eyelashes.

Plus he has to be hardened, agree to it before hand (marrying Anora), and you must do the dueling yourself.



Done it three times and it does work. Just dont do the DR or you get angrystair.

Rats, my mage isn't romancing him, I wanted to spare his innocence and feed Loghain to Archie.  I guess I'll try the US - this is going to be so depressing
