Wooow I just BARELY won the fight with the face statue in the Deep Roads. Everyone was dead except Ali and he was sooo close to death but he did iiiit YAAAY. My hero.

Edit: Now I have to go fight Branka with one health potion and no lyrium potions...yay. Oh Maker why didnt I buy potions from the crazy dwarf!? WHYYY?! Oh yeah at least there are those lyrium viens or whatever they are called.My character cant use them though because she is a dwarf...

That fight is hard the first time in, and requires a good tank and dedicated healer to best get through.



I liked it though a screenshot from there was my Desktop background for a while.

One time, I had almost no potions, health or lyrium, and everyone died but Alistair. He ended up running around to all the lyrium veins, looting corpses for poultices, and trying to stay out of Branka's way until he was healed sufficiently to go back for a few whacks, almost get killed, and start running again. This went on for something like fifteen minutes, and she was almost dead. One more round, and Alistair would have done it, but then she gave that line about not knowing what resources she had at her disposal (paraphrase), and brought the ceiling down. Brought the ceiling down! The whole place started shaking, big rocks were falling everywhere.... It was a nightmare. Alistair tried to dodge them, but got crushed, just seconds from killing Branka. DAMN! That was a good fight!

I've abandoned Alistair and everything else in favor of playing Persona 3 Portable. I guess because Persona 3 is pretty much one of my absolute favorite games, I am able to stomach the changes to DA more readily? I mean, we weren't even able to play as female until recently.... Erm. Yeah. Alistair doesn't love me very much right now.

Guess so. Giant boulders have never fallen from the sky before.  It was quite the surprise.

Whenever Shale's not with me I side with Branka and then talk her into suicide and as that feels like better closure for Oghren as he was able to save a semblance of her sanity.

As far as my PC knows, Branka has to die right then and there, so...that happens. I didn't even know you could do that. I've killed her each and every time. The fruitcake murdered her whole house!
