Hi! I wish there was a skip the Deep Roads, too. That place always seems to take soooo long. I think it's the fact that you do so much before you even go into the tunnels. By the time I get there, I'm like... get me out of here, already! Plus, they're dark, nasty places filled with spiders with yucky fleshy lumps all over the place. I really dislike spiders.
Why did I have to think about that right before bed?

The quest is a chore, fun the first time and then tediously repetitive on other walkthroughs. I have two PCs waiting to venture into the Deep Bores.

I'm late to the party again, but I just saw that there will be romance options for DA2 so I'm tickled pink now. I am in a weird limbo where it's hard to be excited about DA2 because none of my original characters carry forward and I won't see familiar faces in DA2 either. It's almost like a brand new game that just happens to have the DA logo stamped on it. =p I was already going to buy DA2 because I like the gaming experience from both DAO and ME. Hearing that there will be romances has hit that sweet spot for me --- yeaaaah! On the bright side, at least there's no fretting over cheating on Alistair as a Hawke. =p

I think that Alistair has been thoroughly explored in origins, I don't see what new things they'd bring to the table with the guy, even if he was drunk.
