All my wardens are not doing anything real important anyway so most of them would show up.
Although my Dalish would say:
"SERIOUSLY I JUST CLEANED THIS PLACE UP!! CAN WE KEEP IT CLEAN FOR 10 MINUTES!"
I could see it going both ways, and Zyanic I think your scenario is a good one- in fact, so good that it's probably not going to come true (that is me being pessimistic about anything DA-related). They'll always give a default option for a new PC like they did with Awakening, if someone doesn't want to carry forward. You would just have to live with the world looking differently than it might have in your canon DAO.

Edit: And implemented it so that the game DIDN'T make more sense for you to be a random Orlesian no one cared about.

The reason it makes more sense is because it's barely acknowledged if you're the Hero of Ferelden or Orlesian but people never seem to know who you are (the inkeeper in Amaranthine can't believe Kristoff's commander is an elf or a dwarf even if you just saved them which is a WTF moment that makes perfect sense as an Orlesian) and so the lack of any sort of continuity or recognition makes it easier to justify as an Orlesian who just arrived in the country.Addai67 wrote...

Those statistics won't hold true outside the forums. The people who post on forums are the vocal and passionate fans. They are the ones more likely to be upset about a major change like the voiced PC.
People outside of forums are much less likely to care about that.
About the voiced PC, I don't mind it at all, although I admit it will be weird to create two different ladyhawkes that have the same voice...

And also, just because. Sunday is skirt day.
There's only one warden that I'd like to keep going with, but her story is pretty much done if they're not going to develop anything more for origins (other than DLCs). Mainly I want the writers to stop with the "for a time" crap and not make it sound like there's more to come, that their story is not over yet. Just make the ending cards sound more final. Something like "Alistair was a good ruler, the companions went their own ways, the warden (insert choice of boon) and prospered." End there without adding "for a time, who knows what's coming next, stay tuned folks! dot dot dot ..." False hope is false.yukidama wrote...
To be honest, I don't really want to continue any of my Wardens either. Even those that I really love. I have Grey Warden endings and I have Queens of Ferelden and I have those that went traveling. I don't really *need* any continuity, especially for those who chose to remove themselves from the Warden lifestyle, it just does not make sense for them to continue serving as a Warden when they chose to do something else with their life. So I'd rather just not have anything than be forced to throw my PC back into a role they willingly gave up/want no part of/care nothing about.

Wow! Does willpower ever make a difference to a templar! My PC, who is also a templar, is wearing some armor I made for Alistair that boosts willpower. With that, plus some items that she has, her willpower is 32, probably the highest I've ever had. Also, since this is a very old gamesave, from before I knew how useful willpower is in a number of ways, Alistair's is only about 19, much lower than I keep it now. Alistair got hit by a horror spell, so the PC used smite on the demon that did it, and knocked the whole group that was attacking him across the room. Impressive! From not on, will power is getting much higher.
Here's where the desire demon got him:
I didn't get a picture of the smite, because I was all amazed by the flying dead people. Here's where they landed. The guy still standing was in the same place, that far away, when the smite hit the demon, and he was stunned.
Here's where they were....
Here's where they ended up. You'll notice that there's another ghost by the door that was unaffected:
Cool, huh?
