I feel so boring, but I just can't stop thinking about how utterly impractical a lot of fantasy armors must be. I like armors to be reasonably practical. It's nice if they look badass too, but not at the expense of being ludicrous to wear in real life.
And speculate about things like, how come female dalish elves have titanium belly buttons that don't need armor. Poor women always forced to leave their cutest parts unprotected...

Not only impractical but WTF did they do to the body? Looks like a noodlier Barbie doll. Blech.

I dunno, but if I was a darkspawn that's where I would be aiming my arrows.Xandurpein wrote...

Yep, the Dalish armor is pushing it for me but this is just ridiculous. Why would you leave your entire midsection exposed? So many vital organs and you're gonna run into the thick of battle with that area exposed just to look "sexy"? Meh.

Maybe the theory is that as soon as a darkspawn aims at one of those parts, they get distracted and miss...

Maybe, or perhaps there really is a titanium bellybutton and arrows just bounce right off.Xandurpein wrote...

Good question. Maybe I'll use it as a pick-up line next time I talk to Gheyna...

I dunno that a cloth shirt would really be protecting that area any better then nothing. Would be more aethistically (always spell this word wrong) pleasing though.cmessaz wrote...

Practical Dalish armor.
Oooh thanks.
Also, I love all of moonwing's armor and weapon mods. They're always so richly detailed and the colors are so nice. It sucks when I start a new character and forget to enable them, I have to uninstall and install the vendor version because I love them so.
Leliana is wearing Legacy of Sundown in that screenie I posted earlier. It is my favorite set.
