I just can't bring myself to make Alistair DW, he looks so cute in his massive armors and matching shields.

Keep 'em coming LD! I especially love that you have her in GWC armor...it definitely looks the best on a female out of all the heavy armors. And Alistair in Cailan's armor?...ROWR!
Indeed! My favorite outfits for them in Origins. After Awakening, I can totally see them in the matching sets of armor, though when Lya wants to make a point, I think she dons Sentinel armor.
I read Sundered Order last night and ya know what, I think she would. Great story by the way, I love it and the one you keep calling terrible, it had me glued!

That right there is where I think most people end up disagreeing. It is not a flaw in his personality. It is part of who he is and he cannot deny it. Hardened, unhardened, doesn't matter. He is who he is, and when you put his back to a wall, he fights for who he is. If Duncan had been there, if how the Grey Wardens really are had been explained to Alistair, this probably wouldn't have happened. At this crucial moment, he shows he is not willing to give up everything about his morals and sense of justice to increase the odds a tiny bit. It is up to the PC to decide whether this is a good or a bad thing.
I just got through calling it Alistair's tragic flaw in another thread but you make me want to back up and revise. I think I would rather only refer to it as hamartia, which in tragedy is often translated as the "fatal flaw" or "mistake" that somebody makes causes everything to go to pot, for instance, Macbeth's ambition. In reality, it is just the reason. It is part of who he is, and in certain permutations of the story that can cause tragedy, it is not necessarily a "flaw." In a class I had it described as potentially even the willingness to not sin to save yourself. Which could be seen as what Alistair's doing.
Sorry, theatre student here.

Well, thank you. In all honestly, Lya might think of doing it, but she's a politcal enough animal to know it would be a bad idea. Alistair would whole-heartedly approve, though.

And it's not like Alistair is the only one in Fereldan carrying that around.

I hate how the fire effect looks, so I never use it. :/

Thank you! Sundered order is a M/W/F release, so there will be a new chapter tomorrow. None of Friday, though, b/c I'm going on vacation. Might post it on Saturday. We'll see. Broken Road, the other in progress story is a Tues/Sun/Thurs/Tues/etc.... release schedule. It's what I'm working on right now. *grumbles*

I would agree with Lya.
Striking fear into enemy hearts is acceptable and doesn't need the sentinel armor (I can see Lya's glare being intimidating enough). Striking terror on the otherhand will end up creating more enemies in the long run.

As soon as I fix her hair (it looks greasy doesn't it?) I'll get a nice full view of it. Thought I wish I knew how you people get such noce full shots? Cuz I can only get good face ones.

Yes, Lya's fearsome glare! Ahhh, literary cheating right there.

She should be careful about changing outfits too much. People might think she is schizophrenic
My guy only alternates between two outfits. "Civilian" and "military".

I'm okay with calling it a flaw so long as its understood in the vein that we all have flaws in our personality - none of us is perfect. Its his flaw that his devotion to and idealism of the Grey Wardens in general and Duncan in particular is so great that it won't allow him to accept a politically expedient move that would also provide another Warden to fight the archdemon - and really, its a pretty understandable flaw. I suspect many of our HNs carry it in regards to Howe.
A perfectly reasonable person would see all the benefits of Loghain going through the Joining. But we are not all perfectly reasonable on all subjects - that happens to be Alistair's.

I should be running errands, but you've distracted me. For KoP and Mel:
Awesome eyes! (Note: I LOVE this char's eyes)

Oh noes! The glare!

Not sure if I like with or without helmet better:
