I have one more thing to add about Eamon. Why doesn't he say ANYTHING in Alistair's defense when Anora wants him executed? Not a damn thing. He cares about Alistair, but doesn't even object to his death?
THAT!
That is in my fanfic with the Alistair execution. Alistair is RAGED!
"I want to thank you, Eamon, for your impassioned defense of my life. I was quite touched."
He doesn't? Well, that's... wow. His concern for the boy really shone through, didn't it? Or it could just have been an oversight on the developers' part. I hope it is.
Also, great line you used there Lady. x3

I can't do it. Did it once already and don't care to repeat the experience. I don't like it when games depress me. Its bad enough I bawl like a baby at the emotional scenes already.
Bryce in the Gauntlet gets me so bad I can't even see my monitor. I have to stop playing a few minutes to clear the water from my eyes.
If I added bad things to Alistair in the mix I couldn't stand it.
And I guess I am back in the right mood to work on my FF again.
Oh, I had my own share of tears during the Gauntlet as well. My Cousland girl was still grieving (albeit silently) at that point. When the Guardian asked my PC if she thought she failed her parents, she answered "Yes. I should have defended them to the death.", which was how I played her in her origin story. It opened up a dialogue option for when she encountered her father deeper inside:
Bryce: My dearest child...
PC: Why do you torment me with this vision?
Bryce: No torment of our devising could match that which you inflict on yourself.
Bryce: No more must you grieve, my girl. Take the pain and the guilt, acknowledge it, and let go. It is time.

:crying:

And you know, I was half-expecting Alistair's response to the Guardian to be different for when he's hardened and unhardened. Turns out it wasn't.
