Oh even when I could I sucked at it. I think windows 7 may have been a bad idea. I should have waited.

Hmm I had that issue before with my steam version.  I've found keeping the screenshots/user folder open in the background while the game is running forces it to save them.

@sylvanaerie and Urshakk, I think its a bug, it usually happening right after you end a battle and get a cutscene, but the character still has their battle face. I died when I saw this at first. Fell out of my chair and everything. LOL

Actually it just happens during the part in the Tower of ashal where he asks what the darkspawn are doing there. I have one of that too...lol

It was sheer luck really, the ogre had just kicked myself and my dog back so, we weren't in the shot.  I paused it then positioned the camera till it was above and angled from Alistair.  The kind of shine on him is from Haste and Frost Weapon.

Yeah, I use the console respec mod and respec everyone when I get them.

Side note: I laughed really hard in Awakening when one of Oghrens banter lines came out speaking like Microsoft Sam.

I have no freaking idea. Probably one of my toolset experiments gone wrong. Why isn't there a mad face?

Do you have files in your my documents//bioware//dragon age//modules//single player// ? If so, that's probably what's causing the conflicts. Deleting the single player folder from my documents (NOT from program files!!) should hopefully clean it up.

Other places where conflicts can occur would be in packages//core//data, packages//core//override, and any addins or modules with stuff in their core//override directories.

The toolset installs dump a lot of unnecessary garbage into the my docs/DA folders that could potentially mess up game play.

I quit using in game screenshot functions for almost everything. I use a little program called Fraps. It's free (I have paid, but thats just for better video), you assign the key to take the shot, and just have it running while you play.

Crap, I just reinstalled. I wonder if that could be the reason my toolset won't save when I edit alistair_main.

Well, spacebar just pauses so you can fiddle with angles and distance for good shots.

Lady: I'm wondering about this toolset thing. I so far actually really like 7, it doesn't hog as much as Vista. I just can't figure this toolset crap out. That is why I was playing the game, get to Ostagar and Alistair sounds like a robot, as does the mage he was arguing with.

Do you have anti-aliasing turned on? It seems to mess up screenshots through PrintScreen key when it's enabled, the work-around is to either turn it off or to map the screenshot command to another key.
