I do. When you start a new game, it asks you if you want to import from the character creator.
Hmmmm, didn't know that.eucatastrophe wrote...
I do, too, but apparently, you can save the character you make in the CC as a preset you can use later so I wanna try it out
Hey, no problem again.cmessaz wrote...

There are some mods that can only be used in the toolset, or are you having trouble with some not appearing in the in-game character generator? As far as the pre-release one, I was playing DA on my PS3 back then so I never used it. But if you are having trouble with mods that are not appearing in-game like they should, I can help.
As a preset, you would need to create it in the toolset, then export. Then you would give it the appropriate name and put it in the override folder. There are easier ways of using your toolset made characters in-game, simply by editing your save.eucatastrophe wrote...

I'm just wondering how I can create a character morph that I can use as a preset?
slightly OT: As far as I know the toolset doesn't have the preset faces in it, does it?

I think she means that if you created a character using the pre-release CC you can import it when you start a new game. So I guess it's a preset in that sense. xD You won't be able to change the class (rogue/warrior/mage) of the character though.eucatastrophe wrote...
Ya you can, before I uninstalled CC I had made a character and you can use it instead of using the one's in the game.
Hey, thanks ^^
So if I have a character made, it will appear as a preset?
cmessaz wrote...
Not that I am aware of. I wish I could simply load an already made character into the toolset to edit it. But if there is a way to do that, I don't know it. Sorry! All of the cool tattoos and stuff are in the toolset! Thats how I make ALL of my characters.
And if I am losing you cause you are talkking about something completely different, I'm sorry.

Oh, but if you have the .chr file from the face you created in the pre-release CC you can make it into an actual preset using the toolset.eucatastrophe wrote...

I need to get reaquented with a dictionary apparantly cuz I can't spell.
Yeah, I started the problem myself over the weekend because I uninstalled wrong. I didn't even need to uninstall, I found the reason why Alistair lost his voice today. There were two voice over files in my override folder. No freaking idea how they got there. So had I taken the time, the last 3 days of frustration could have been avoided.nranola wrote...
