Hmmm, unfortunately I'm not very knowledgeable about that, but I would guess that some of the early dialogues come with responses that turn off the romance completely. I'd try to turn it off as early as possible just to avoid the temptation (and heartbreak down the line).

Not sure, because I've only done Anora-rules-alone on my very 1st character and never since.  He is probably able to reconcile himself to your choice even when hardened.  It would actually be something interesting to learn about from the toolset, what his reaction is.

Just don't ask him at the Landsmeet what he thinks you should do.  He'll tell you in no uncertain terms what he wants you to do.  Oh, and if he duels Loghain and your character is not a HNF, he will take the throne and you won't have a chance to say yay or nay.

The modded face (is that Improved Atmosphere?) is very handsome and still close to the original, but to me he looks younger here.  I think I like the original best.

I just noticed that IA changes some of the dialogues. As a HNF I was able to get a kiss from Bella in Redcliff Village w/o another mod installed. Alistair gave me a +1 approval for it too!

Actually he's suppose to be really young.  He looks older than he should on his normal model.  He's only suppose to be 21 during Origins.

That's one of the optional components, right? I have IA installed but never got anything about kissing Bella, and I'm pretty sure I would have noticed! :innocent:

That Alistair face morph is actually quite nice as well. I've never tried modding him before but that one is such a subtle change it's tempting. <3

My husband got that in vanilla...the man was taking kisses as rewards left and right. Morrigan was NOT impressed...lol

I know, it's probably because I'm in my 30s myself so I'm prejudiced to an older look.

Yeah, it's so slightly modified I barely noticed, the stubble clued me in. But the lighting effects it too. He doesn't look quite that young in normal lighting. He looks pretty much like the original but with full stubble.

I think we need screenshot evidence.    I do like the full stubble.  There's a bit more definition to the eyes, too, though you can def go overboard on the eyeliner look.

You're right, I forgot I added a mod to change Lloyd's dialogue.  That mod must of also altered Bella's.  Apparently you can buy Lloyd's tavern after the battle.  I downloaded a mod that makes that dialogue available.

I don't have the mod itself anymore, but I did put Awakening's resources into origins. So this isn't in IA? Cuz it looks like a variation of whatever armor Alistair is wearing in Awakening.

nranola has actually got me thinking about Alistair in longer hair.  Drat that comparison to Maric, it is working its charms.  LOL
