So at this point do people write fanfiction more than actually play the game? And am I the only one who doesn't write any? Just curious.

I'm replaying through DA:O now so, I can import the Warden to replay Awakening.  I just can't get into the Orlaisian Warden.

I have a lot of idea for fan fics but I'm not an adept writer.  I just bought a new sketch pad though so, I might draw up some comics in time.

I tried to play an Orlesian Warden but I just couldn't. I don't really care about the Awakening story enough to play it when it has no real link to Origins. I've only played through it once on the PS3, I'm probably gonna sell it back to GameStop <_<

That's my situation right now. I really, truly love to write (which sucks for me, because I am so terrible at it) so this story I'm working on now is basically a ginormous time sink, but I'm having as much fun with it as I was with the game. Eventually I'll get bored and play some more.

And I'll never stop taking compromising pictures of Alistair. Ever. It has become a cherished hobby.

That's good.  A creative outlet is great.  I used to write a lot- not fanfiction, but in general- and I think now I'm just too old.  Short attention span and not much energy after having the life sucked out of me by The Man every day.  [/dirge]

Then why isn't Bann Teagan covered in swords all the time?

Just scoping the competition, is all.

I like Riordan's avoidance tactic of Super Eye Contact.

All the while Eamon's just hanging out in the back there looking like a bad metal Santa Claus.

LOL He knows he can't compete with Riordan, Bann Sexy and King NBA (and he is wearing the Thane Helmet, it's just invisible due to cutscene magic).

Eamon is SO far off the sexy chart he's not even a thousand miles near it, lmao. No competition is an understatement :innocent:

It comes in the updated Grey Warden Runic Armor package.  I have him wearing the whole set now.  I got bored of the Black Templar Armor.  If my Ali was DW, I would of stuck with Black Templar Armor but S&S Ali looks better in Grey Warden Runic Armor.

I still think we're gonna get in trouble for caboodling our fellow warden and/or throning him. Maybe not Maric, But Mama bear Fiona never wanted that boy in the court, and Duncan would surely NOT approve of the extra curriculars...lol And we didn't technically see him die either.  In my head...

Duncan shows up wounded at Weisshaupt, fiona heals him. They hear about the Arch demon dying, both wardens living, AND ruling Ferelden/ having a romance with the king/warden.

Fiona: Oh HELL no!
Duncan: Sigh

The Wardens don't have a rule against Wardens coupling up.  Genevieve was engaged to a fellow Warden named Guy while she was Commander of the Grey.  Also in TC Nicolas and Julien were Wardens and lovers.

As longas the PC and Alistair feign ignorance to the situation and the Archdemon doesn't rise up again there isn't much that the Wardens can do.  The Commander of the Grey in Weisshaupt could order them back but as King/Queen of Ferelden they could simply say no.  Also, in TC Nicolas and Julien had been talking about leaving the Wardens to spend the remainder of their years together.  It's obviously not imposible to simply say "we quit".

There's a good chance Fiona is still alive and at Weisshaupt.  Since the mages of Weisshaupt speculated that Fiona would suffer no second Calling.  I really don't know how I feel about if she would or wouldn't tell Alistair about his true parentage.  I think if she saw that he was happy and married that she may remain quiet.

I don't think Duncan is still alive.  His beard lived on though to narrate the ending.

Well true, ok, but still somethings gotta bite us in the arse later. Luckily Alistair wears plate. Well, except in this thread...lol

If it wasn't for men like Eamon, Isolde would of never gotten laid.  Just picture that shrill voice Eeeeaaaamon! while they'd be having sex.

This is where I wonder how Isolde ended up with Eamon and not Bann Teagan. Is Bann Teagan just so awesome that he can repel crazy? Was she just angling for the brother with the highest status? Otherwise it makes little sense to me.

I like Serrisia's theory better.

Oooh, thanks! I really need to check on updates more often.

...and now Alistair is naked and the Runic Armor is too high a level for him to wear. No other armor in my inventory at the moment, so he's gonna have to be nude until I can buy more

There's a lot of unknowns concerning the DR because we don't know enough about the Archdemons/Old Gods.

First of all if the Old Gods were indeed simply ancient dragons than I don't really see the issue.  I would think the only consequence would be that Morrigan's child would be born highly attunded to magic.  This is a pretty valid theory considering even the high dragon seemed some what intelligent (as seen when pursuing Reaver).  A lot of the dialogue and Codex in the game seems to suggest that this theory might be valid.

If the Old Gods were something more than just extremely intelligent ancient dragons than it's really anyones guess as to what might happen.  If something relating to a Blight did happen because of the child, I think it would be accidental.  Basically something Morrigan or Flemeth failed to foresee.  Starting another Blight would not benifit Morrigan or Flemeth in anyway since the darkspawn corrupt everything in their path.  Becoming a surpreme ruler of nothing is rather counter productive.

I think in her Codex it says that she fell in love w/ Eamon before she knew he was the rightful Arl of Redcliff.  So, in theory she wasn't gold digging.  Her family was ironically the ones ruling over Redcliff during the Orlaisian occupation of Ferelden.  She thought Eamon was dashing for being part of the rebellion.  I'm assuming this was at the very end of the rebellion considering in TST it says Eamon and Teagan were sent to the Free Marshes during the rebellion.

We celebrated finding Duncan's shield by going out for a little half-naked swordfighting in the alienage.  Good times.
